It has actually offloaded. However,it hasn't been cleared and the agent is saying that all the cars in the vessel will need to finish offloading and the custom officers done thier inspections before he will start processing the clearing process.

I hope it's true

He can start the clearing process even before the vessel berthed. Starting with the car valuation to know the custom duty, punching, etc.

Thanks for the response.
The car was discharged since on Friday and till date the clearing agent hasnt delivered it to me,on the basis that it hasn't been taken to the terminal for the past 4days.

Please what's the issue?

Kindly assist me as my car has arrived since 17th December and we have not been able to clear it due to the fact that they said the Bill of laden is not on their system. We have since contacted the shipper and this has been sent twice. It was still not seen as at yesterday. Other cars sent by the guy to my friends with the same GLOVIS challenge has been cleared.

My worry is also the safety of the car. I hope it does not get vandalized if it stays too long there. I am familiar with demurage.
