Wike's MERCEDES-BENZ Jeep Gift From Non Existing Company. SCAM. by aresa: 2:17am On Oct 26, 2015 |
The gift according to Wike came from Pickwick Global Security Ltd, Port Harcourt 1. Public officials shouldn't be taking such or any gift from anybody especially private companies. 2. The Jeep gift came from a non existing company. Pickwick Global Security Ltd doesn't exist and it's even eye opening that a company rich enough to gift the governor of Rivers state such luxury item doesn't have a website or any form of web presence. 3. The one and only refrence to the said company came from LINKED and the name associated as the CEO of the company = Onyechi Kanayo 4. This is whee it get interesting... 5. Onyechi Kanayo is based in the USA and the name of his street address in the US is guess what? 704 Pickwick Ln Wylie, TX 75098. 6. The company obviously doesn't exist in Nigeria and whoever fronted for Wike with this Jeep resides in the USA and the only link regarding this company is the word Pickwick which is the name of the company and the street address of the so called CEO of this fake and imaginary company. https://ng.linkedin.com/pub/onyechi-kanayo/90/464/451 Bottom line. The company doesn't exist exist in Nigeria and Wike bought this Jeep for himself using a front and and a just in case cover up story hence even putting it on his Facebook page to throw people off. @ EFCC. If Nigeria isn't a lawless country in the first place, why else would an elected public official accept an expensive gift and go ahead to flaunt it on social media? Of course, such unethical thing happens all the time, but the officials involved keep it hidden. It takes someone who doesn't know what governance and public service involves to brazenly flaunt such an inducement. A one time minister and governor! If he wants to use Rivers state resource to acquire an armored vehicle for himself, there are legal channels to do so, I think. 11 Likes |

bishopjoe02:Really? Why are you like this? Go find out how much donations GEJ and, even Obama received during their respective reelection bids... Maybe only then will you realise that one needs all the financial assistance obtainable to make for an effective campaigns. It's a different ball game the moment you assume office though. It's normal to accept gifts, but to flaunt it all in a bid to avoid any future probing that may arise is lame and insincere. 2 Likes |

Sweetguy25: From where will he get that #30m if not from stolen funds. in a sane society, such car should not be in his garage, its meant for well known wealthy forks who are known for what they actually do like Adenuga, Dangote and other popular entrepreneurs, not a full time political Jobbers. Therefore we see why we are our own problem, why will he have a latest G wagon when he has no money spinning Venture that engages Nigerian youths. 1 Like |

bishopjoe02:Stick with the issues in the article and stop chasing the wind Campaign donations is legal and it not for personal use or personal bank accounts. It's illegal to give or receive personal gift to a public officials, whether elected or appointed. David West was rightly in trouble for receiving a wrist watch gift when was a minister. If this story is true, both the giver and receiver must be the dumbest criminals alive. But this is Nigeria, where crazy is cool. 2 Likes |
