naijapips02: Oh really? I don't know, I'll take your word for it since you seem such an expert on such business. Oh, and I've noticed that you're diverting because you've been hit face flat with hard facts. There's a reason why this thread wont reach 20 pages like others. 4 Likes |

ezeagu: Dude, you guys should stop already. I am an igboman but I am shamed by the actions of you Biafra Lunatics. You claim you are fighting for your sovereignty; so why force your identity on people that wouldn't want to be associated with you? Ikweres have said time and again that they are not igbos, we should respect that and move on. That they speak a version of igbo language doesn't make them igbo. Anyone can pick up any language, learn it and stick with it. Please stop already. 3 Likes |

ezeagu: iguocha or whatever you might want to call was an ikwere enclave.....ikwere town. There are many parts that was brought together to form PH. It's on the document you cited. read it carefully, this time around, with less emotions and more brainpower. 1 Like |

TonyeBarcanista: Okrika people used to sell fish at Borokiri to Igbos, Ikwerre and other upland people. They come in canoes to sell and would paddle back to their villages. Over time they established camps along the coasts but the land inside remained Ikwerreland. 11 Likes |

I remember when River State government wanted to stop Bonny people from speaking Igbo and force them to start speaking Ijaw (this was before Bayelsa State was created) but the natives rejected it and asserted their Igboness. Now some lone minority voice will come here shouting Bonny is Ijaw. Nonsense. 5 Likes |

Like I said before Ijaw people invaded rivers state after betraying the old eastern state during the civil war ..... Getting a portion of land in rivers state was the deal they made with the Nigerian Govt , in return for betraying the old eastern region ... Ijaws are expansionist ... All minorities in SS should be wary of them .. 10 Likes 1 Share |

HopeAtHand: Correction: Igbos are not pushing for a name change rather they referred to Portharcourt by its original name. Of course, name change has to be done by the natives but what the Igbo nation will not do is to sit and watch Portharcourt claimed by a non-Igboid community. At that stage, the Igbo will interfere and stop such nonsense. 7 Likes |

HopeAtHand: Okirika can sign any document with Britain, Russia, or Armaggedon, but what really matters is the agreement they signed with original Igbo owners of the land
Not so fast buddy! Now we know why Ijaws got some mentally unbalanced Ikwerre people(whose fathers and grand father claimed to be Igbos) to deny being Igbos, so that it will be easier for the Ijaws to deal with the st..tupid Ikwerres at the end. Just like the Fulanis dealt with Afonja Yorubas in Illorin. 5 Likes |

When we say that Aba is an Igbo city, does it now mean that Aba no longer belong to the Ngwas? Same applies in PH, when we say PH is an Igbo city, we mean that PH belongs to Ikwerres who are Igbo. So this case of Igbos trying to grab PH is ridiculous. 7 Likes |
