I dont care what any one says, this man did not loot.am not saying he didnt havehisshort comings but people used his death to steal and cover up as well as push every thing on him.

Am well aware that this great man actually put "NIGERIA" as the beneficiary to the money abroad.

May God punish any one that continues to slander this man, may they never see peace may their ownchildren be the source of their pains and deaths.

I will not respond to any nonsense on my post
oh ok so he protected nigerias money from looters. that makes sense.

I won't be surprise to hear that Buhari said Abacha did not steal. My question to the nairalanders is this " what do u expect from uncircumcised philistine like Buhari? Let him keep defying the armies of the Lord of HOST. But he should know that David is on his way to the battle field. Let him go and read ( 1 samuel 17:1-58 ), that's if he knows how to read.
how do you know he is uncircumcised ? have you been watching him in the shower taking a bath ? lipsrsealed

[b][size=13pt]World bank are corrupt liars.

Abacha never stole Swiss court documents prove that it was never proven the so called Abacha loot was linked to Abacha.

World Bank with the help of their stooge Thief Obasanjo wanted demonise Abacha for patriotically declining their ruinous loans and dictates of devaluing the Naira.

Why is it that it is upto the World Bank to tell us about how "recovered Abacha loot" was utilised?

Do you Know that the average oil price during Abacha's reign was $13 per Barrel ?

Yet Abacha was able to fund PTF and fund infrastructure

Yet Abacha never sold off any oil blocks

Yet Abacha never sold off any national assets (privatisation).

Yet Abacha never devalued our currency and kept it at N22 to $1

Yet Abacha never claimed to be subsiding fuel which he sold at N16 per litre, part of the revenue of which he transparently used to fund the PTF which was used to improve infrastructure; after he raised the fuel price by only N5 per litre to N16 per litre.

Yet Abacha maintained our crippled Nigeria Airways.

Yet Abacha built left $8bn more reserves than he met.

Yet intervened in Sierra Leone and Liberia wars fulfilling our rightful role as a regional superpower.

Yet Abacha built the National hospital in Abuja.

Yet Abacha built the largest housing estate in Africa

Yet Abacha paid of $9bn of our external debt and also reduced domestic debt.

Yet Abacha funded funded our Sports ministry sufficiently to enable us to win 2 Olympic gold medals, and AFCON cup.

Thief Obasanjo started hiking fuel prices and called it subsidy removal, without justifying how the revenue realised was utilised.

Thief Obasanjo made $16bn meant for power disappear, yet World bank is not trying to trace Thief Obasanjo's loot.

Abacha didn't sell any oil block, he only gave his cronies like TY Danjuma, Dan Etete and Changoury (His girlfriend) as gift.

Those oil blocks were Thief Obasanjo's corrupt dealings. None of the people who you implied Abacha sold oil blocks did not serve in Abacha's administration and mysteriously claimed ownership of the oil blocks during Thief Obasanjo's tenure.

I think what we're suffering today is the effect of what transpired between 1999 and 2007, we should be demanding answers from the helmsmen during dat period and not making dem Statesmen.

No he didn't

You must be only person in the country that does not know He was a close ally, loyalist and confidante of Sani Abacha, who rewarded General Danjuma with an oil block. The block, which was located in Port Harcourt in the Niger Delta region, was left unexploited for several years. In 2006, he sold it to China’s offshore oil company CNOOC for $1 billion. After taxes, and paying off various dues,he was left with over $500 million.
