the last bridge was fought for 3 years and the instigator left for asylum leaving families to fend for themselves and scratch the bottom of empty barrels for food, medicine excluding loss of properties and lives.
the instigator of that last bridge came back got married to a beauty queen(she was given an ambassadorial position).but the people still carry scares of over 20 years memory of bloodshed.

the people still carry scars of over 40 years because the same thing they fought against 40 years ago, is still present up till today. I still don't know why its hard to allow a very different people, choose to be on their own.

the people did not chose to be on their own.it is the greed and foolishness of the man with the gun and his conspirators that forced phantom errors and lack of judgement which plunged the lives of innocent citizens into a 3 year war with loss of lives and property.
a war they never signed for and IT IS THE SCARES OF THE WAR(LOSS OF LIFE THAT HUNTS NOT THE FALSE PROPAGANDA TO ENGAGE IN WAR).

if u followed the war history, u would know that there was an agreement in aburi which gowon didn't heed to and left ojukwu with no choice, even gowon admitted that he would do the same thing ojukwu did. that's to tell you that no one wants war, just a peaceful disintegration of this contraption called Nigeria, which I don't know why its becoming so difficult.

u can't ensure unity by coercion but by agreement.

if u followed the war history, .

the above quote summaries everything." the war history" it is the fueling argument.a desire to CONTINUE THE TENETS/HuSTORY OF WAR.
NO RETREAT NO SURRENDER. but who are the players in the war.simple they were-
Young under 40 year old military officers who had guns and armoury with gift money(which they cannot account for) decided to go all over Nigeria killing, murdering citizens and imprisoning peiple.and after the madness they engaged in the ultimate ego trip-
"engage in war" and call it a good name!

There is no recognized traditional and social hierarchical structure in igboland, all posts are titular without any form of power or authority, every Igboman is a king in his own obi.

The call for the creation of Biafra is the call for the creation of the classic Hobbesian state where life is short, nasty and brutish. 'Igbo enwe Eze' allows anyone with some means to aspire to be king, never to bow down or show real deference to anyone.

The disaster that will happen in such a state that is lacking an inherently defined traditional hierarchical structure is the demarcation of territory by any man of means, the carving out of fiefdoms by local strongmen, and the rule of warlords over 'autonomous communities, independent countries and imperial kingdoms' all within Biafra.
