I'm not surprised that the Polithieficians are this unmindful of the poverty stricken Electorate.

My name is UCHENWA and i was employed as a Senior Officer at a Micro-finance Bank at Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.

After my employment, i got married and as custom demands, i have to change to my Spouse's Church. This did not go down well with Chairman of the Board of Directors at my Bank.

From that moment i was made to go through a lot of stiff embarrassments.
Knowing the Laws governing my employment, i worked diligently that made the Managing Director recommend me for promotion twice within a space of Five (5) years.

By the sixth year, i thought i've had enough and tendered my resignation this May 2015, to take effect from June.

My resignation was accepted that, the Board will communicate with me after their meeting in July 2015.

But to my greatest surprise, the Board had converted my resignation to dismissal.

Where-else can i turn to now other than the courts.

12 year old Adetayo Adefarasin, a student of Government Junior College, Epe, suffered severe burns to her face, chest, arm and legs after a faulty transformer exploded along Broad street, Lagos as she was trying to board a bus while returning from church on September 20th.

She was rushed to General Hospital, Lagos where she's still receiving treatment for her severe injury. The faulty transformer was repaired two days after this incident but according to girl's family who reached out to LIB, PHCN have not made any attempt to help the girl who is still in hospital. Friends say she is a brilliant student and was looking forward to a great future. The family want to sue PHCN over the incident I hear but haven't done so yet. The carelessness of these people is worrisome. They don't do anything until someone gets killed or injured. See photos of Adetayo in hospital after the cut

you can sue the bank,with the work-contract that you did with them,,,i dont understand the judicial-system...but in a democratie,you can sue anybody,even buhari...wheather you would win,this i dont know...this process can go over years...

Gaddamnit.

if PHCN (or whatever they are called) aren't willing to at least foot her medical bills then the parents should sue. this is too much. this innocent young girl has her face marred for life for no fault of hers. transformers don't just explode spontaneously; there must have been warning signs which the so-called PHCN failed to attend to all the while. i can imagine how traumatic this must be for both the parents and the child.

If they cannot pay bill and pay this girl around 50 million Naira, then they are all useless people, from APC god in Aso Rock Buhari to the smallest PHCN rat.

If Buhari's grandchild was injured like this, she would have been flown to "Western Germany" for treatment by now.

this is so sad. But was she walking close to the transformer? The degree of injury she suffered makes me begin to think that she wanted to go hug the transformer.
By the way that bloody transformer needs some covering.
my advice to the little gurl's family is this.... SUE THEIR BLOODY ASS, spare them not.
