oga leadership is paramount. All files stop at gej desk to sign but he likes anti people move to favour cabal. Sanusi took advantage of his weakness. Pmb that inherited that contract now has sanusi as his supporter but that doesnt stop him frm offending sanusi to favour pro people policy. Pmb has right to continue it cos its a contract that was signed for years with that percent by gej for remita to do the deal and no other. But pmb doesnt do the negative
Sanusi was CBN Governor from 2009 to 2014, let say this remita was introduced in 2010, that mean Remita have be taking 1% from every Federal Government fund transfer through their platform, take an estimate of that, it will translate to Trillions that have paid to this company from 2010 -2104, and the hypocrisy called Sanusi was shouting that 20 Trillion was missing from our national treasury, when he have cost us more from shady deals. WE NEED TO KNOW
-TSA is the initiative of GEJ/NOI as part of public finance mgt Reforms..like IPPIS, IPSAS etc
-The scheme was to entrenched transparency and accountability
-TSA ideal is to help govt reduce cost of borrowing, stop leakages, corruption, have have oversight over its cash resources, avoid losing its fund in failed Banks and Rake in more revenues
-it is to cover all govt payments and collections and all MDAs are to be involved including NNPC
-To achieve this MDAs accounts in DMBs will be moved to CBN
-the practicability ,CBN decided to key the TSA along her cashless policy (e-payment vision 2020) meaning instead of doing retail banking, they ll deploy and electronic platform to facilitate both payment form the TSA accounts in CBN, to beneficiaries, and collections also from payers direct to TSA in CBN. (the implication less leakages as monies from payers go straight to CBN, instead of account in commercials banks)
-Banks are collecting agents now, you pay through Remita in Banks and it is posted straight thru Remita in CBN, money doesnt stay in Bank one day.
-After a rigorous selection process CBN selected Remita an indigenous e-payment software offered as SaaS to facilitate the TSA
- contract was signed for 1%, Banks wanted 5% to be charged because of float, but govt agreed on 1%, MOU was duly signed and contract implemented note global standard for such service is 1%-4% govt beat it lowest 1%.
-TSA project has been in implementation since 2012, however MDAs, Banks, where not comfortable with it because it will not allow them to continue to do business as usual, steal govt money and using it for business etc.
-other e-payment providers competing with Remita also not happy they think Remita is monopoly
-The thought Buhari will throw away TSA so that it will continue to be 'business as usual' looting and wasting Nigeria resources
-to their surprise he decided to continue with the TSA initiative
-Corruption is fighting back the want to scatter the arrangement...using the ignorant Senator Melaye who will not investigate before he begins running his mouth in public
-they think remita is making so much money...from the 1%, however they dont know that the 1% is shared btw CBN, the banks and Remita sharing formula is CBN 10%, Bank 40% and Remita 40%
- The dont realize massive IT infrastructure and cost is deployed to make Remita work..will Remita a private company run TSA for govt for free?

Ths remita knws they are wrong and that they dont deserve the amount, it cant go to court

GEJ signed on behalf of the country (It's not a personal thing!). Thanking him? For violating contract agreement between the government and the software company? Remita knows they're wrong? How? if you're offering an hour of your service for 10# to a regular client and they same service for 1000# to a premium client, does that make your business illegitimate?

WAILERS THE SUMMARY IS
Tsa was introduced under gej as u claimed with remita put in place to do the transfer but never implemented.

Pmb came and saw tsa was needed he implemented it and wasnt aware of such high deduction agreed by gej in its deal with remita.

Immediately he got the feedback of this sabotage he has ordered them to return the money. And be rest assured their percent would be re negotiated.

I was shocked when i heard ths remita at first, i never knew it was the YAM AND GOAT HANG OVER POLICY.
Dont ever conclude without knowing details.
If it was in gej era it would have been sheilded like odua dieazani

frm everything obvious, the cöntract deal was signed with gej including the percent. I see no reason why a sensible human beign would sign such with anybody whether it was with apc tinubu, fashola, fayemi as owners.
The truth is the truth, and to thnk gej signed it for his opposition showed it was the fear of the election that made him do many insane and silly things like ths and sharing of dollars. He signed a contract with them for years. El rufai or sanusi only TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIS REGULAR STUPIDITY AND CLUELESNESS.
It was since 2011 and thus should not been seen in such regard.

When you buy things online, do you think that the payment gateway/ processors allow the transaction without a fee
the last i checked the processors are charging upwards of 2% for each transaction, that is how they make their money
remita is a software that does something like that.

During GEJ, getting money into the TSA would be likened to sending out a bailiff to retrieve money. The reason this money is now huge is because we have a president that declares it and everyone starts remitting because they know that there would be consequences. When the contract for remitta was given, those guys didn't envision this ever happening because of the level of corruption and lawlessness.

So now CBN has to go back to the drawing board and revise the contract as we now have a working government

PDP exposed this attempt to defraud nigeria.
As alarm blow, what do you expect him to say since he has to cover tracks? if he meant business he would have ordered the arrest and prosecution of the culprits.
I had to double-check to be sure Dino Melaye did not cross carpet while men slept. Then talking about arrest and prosecution, you would agree with me me that letters of an agreement mutually consented to are supposed to an respected until they are revised or annuled. It therefore follows that if 1% was the agreed commission, no infraction has been commited whether we are looking at 8.6 or 25bn drawn against 1.5 or 2.5tn respectively. Methinks, the outcry is particularlyaimed at questioning the morality of earning such 'easy' money and an urgent need to review the deal or end since the CBN now says it has developed a similar application. Let's give credit to all parties involved; we sure are making progress. Buh, let the probe continue!

If you expect there be a trust fund that means you are saying that people should steal more so that more funds can be recovered. In a system where the stealing stops, what happens to the so called welfare system you are talking of? Please reason before you type nxt time. Thanks

Trust fund? Stolen money? Realisation of the unknown? From all the 'off point logical bunkum' you just spilled here, the only thing I've realised is that you are daft! All this crap from a simple rhetorical question that you should try to ruminate on as one of the masses!
