Jst listened to his new release 'baba nla' and i must say i aint impressed. infact, i'm disappointed. Legendary beats were sleeping on this track.

your data is not saved in those cables. If those cables are blown up, all that might happen will be a loss in Internet connectivity but when it is repaired, your files will be accessible from wherever it was stored.

Even then there are many more back up cables, satellites and connections where Internet connections can be re routed.

There's no need swallowing panadol for a headache that isn't even there, I still maintain that the Internet is very reliable.

lol i dont think you understand that if a war breaks out between usa and russia, and they start dropping atomic bombs and nukes, all those companies will be destroyed and that is the end of your data and files. civilizations are very easy to wipe out today because its all electronically linked. trust me, i will sleep better knowing my backup is in my bedroom in an external hard drive than knowing it is at the mercy of someone else.
