CHILD prodigy-turned-prostitute Sufiah Yusof has no regrets as she feels she is being treated like a 'princess', she said in a tell-all interview.

The 23-year-old, who first made headlines when she enrolled at Oxford University to study maths at age 13, told the British tabloid News of the World: 'People think escorting is sleazy and terrible, but I don't see it like that.

'I've always had a high sex drive - and now I'm getting all the sex I want - and guys are much better in bed with an escort than a girlfriend.'

Ms Yusof, who ran away from her studies at 15 and accused her parents of subjecting her to intolerable pressure to succeed, also dismissed the 'stereotype society has of escorts as being exploited'.

'My clients treat me like a princess. One guy took me shopping on Bond Street. He bought me a beautiful black Gucci dress for 700 pounds and then took me to Selfridges, where I could pick a handbag I liked,' she said.

And later that night, she had no qualms about repaying his generosity.

She also told the paper how she got into the sex trade.

She said she was working as an administrative assistant earning 16,000 pounds (S$44,000) a year in Manchester when, about four months ago in a bar, she was courted by 'this immaculate lady in a designer suit' to become an escort.

Ms Yusof found the offer appealing because she had run up debts of about 3,500 pounds in rent and credit card expenses.

She also fancied living a little after her tightly controlled early life of hothouse learning.

'I have studied so intensely for so many years, I wanted to have some fun,' she said.

So Ms Yusof researched agencies on the Internet, found one that she thought looked professional, and sent her photographs to the agency.

It then listed her on its website, and within a few days she was offered a client, something she greeted with a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

'I slipped on some black lace underwear, stockings and suspenders over a dress. I thought, 'Wow, this is thrilling',' she said.

Her first client turned out to be a 'lovely man' in his late 20s, tall and handsome. He waited for her in a bar in the Hilton hotel.

'I left that night feeling totally elated, having an amazing time with 250 pounds in my purse,' she said.

Since then, she has built a base of regular clients, seeing between five and 10 men a week and being showered with designer clothes and bags, shopping trips, rides in yachts and even helicopters.

She denies her education is being wasted, saying her mathematical ability is a big turn-on for some clients.

'I have men who are thrilled about my passion for mathematics,' she said.

One made her recite equations during sex.

And after living what she obviously considers the high life, she said: 'Now, I wonder if I could go back to a normal relationship, where you watch EastEnders and have boring sex. I've got used to being treated like a princess.'

Ms Yusof, who married a law student at 19 but divorced him less than two years later, has not been in touch with her family for more than three years..

Meanwhile, her mother Mrs Halimahton Yusof, 51, has refused to condemn her daughter's choice of job.

'I have no idea what is going on in her mind, but I refuse to judge her and I want her to know that my door is always open,' she told the Sunday Telegraph.

But all that Ms Yusof had to say on that was: 'I would describe our relationship as estranged.'
