There's no twist anywhere. Even if Audu was alive and declared winner, the PDP would still have contested the decision in court and won in the court's decision because the 49 000 disenfranchised voters are greater than the 41 000 differntials between the APC and the PDP.

in d elections less than 40 percent of d voters turned up to vote.there is no way all this 49 thousand will come up nd vote wenever d supplementary elections holds nd definitely all of them won't vote for a particular candidate or party.APC lead will still be there.Inec only avoided declaring a winner to avoid losingat d tribunal which me -not a lawyer-can win at any court.Faleke will be sworn in as d next gov of kogi state

You don't need to disagree with him Rotimi Amaechi vs Celestine Omehia Supreme court judgement 2007 settles the case you vote party and not candidate. If it was candidate Amaechi wouldn't have became the Governor of Rivers State then because it was Celestine Omehia that was the candidate..the rest is history they say

but in Nigeria its party before candidate.
when the then APC (ACN)and ANPP went to court that omehia didn't win election they were told that not withstanding that people voted for PDP that was how Amaechi regain is mandate and became governor despite not contesting election.

If it were in the PDP led government and Audu were their candidate, his death would have been kept a secret and the result declared in his favour. After the declaration the death would be made public, using section 181 of the Constitution, the Deputy would be sworn in as Governor.

Thank goodness the dark days of PDP are gone.
