DECEMBER 1st (WORLD AIDS DAY)
................................................
It's December first today, it has been decades since the discovery of HIV and AIDS and the fight to eradicate this killer disease is still continues to get stronger but we can't ignore the effort of( every scientists , medical professionals and awareness teams/individuals etc)helping to bring an end to this killer.
I have always said this and will continue to say it, "If he or she loves you enough, he or she will wait till marriage, if either of you can't wait, then one person needs to leave and if you Both ever decides to have sexual intercourse(which is not wrong) make sure you properly use a condom......
Couple always make the mistake of TRUSTING THEIR PARTNER NOT TO CHEAT ON THEM,well the bad news is that he or she doesn't have to cheat on you to contract HIV, it doesn't have to be through sexual act so you can't possibly trust someone not to have HIV, not even yourself.
Remember also that anal sex isn't an alternative to using protection because rectal fluid would still pass across HIV from an infected person to an uninfected person just as vaginal fluid.
The most scary of them all is when infected people have a very unhealthy sex life feeling they don't have a problem since they have already gotten it. You are putting other people at risk for a mistake you may or may not have made and not just other people but yourself.
Remember HIV can be contacted in so many ways Eg breast milk, seminal fluid, vaginal fluid, anal fluid, unprotected sex(even oral), (kissing if either of the person have cut on his mouth), sharing of infected sharp object, parents to offspring, transfusion of infected blood to and uninfected person etc
Unfortunately there are still millions of people infected with this disease and people still gets infected everyday but always know HIV is not a death sentence. If you test positive, seek the help of a counselor in an health center who will guild you through how to live with it. There are drugs available to help you live a healthy long! long!! life.
Remember you shouldn't discriminate people living with HIV/AIDS, You can't get HIV by eating with an infected person or touching them, sharing same toilet, ETC

Make sure you know your status today. Live healthy, live happy.
