Just pondering. With the colossal losses being suffered in the NE, oil selling for $40 per barrel, buyers becoming difficult to find, government finding it difficult to pay salaries, would Nigeria be able to survive another war?? The hitherto peaceful protest has metamorphosed into violent protest and if care is not taken, could snowball into armed struggle.

Can the country survive this? This is why reason should prevail between government and IPOB. Someone who knows the president should advice him that "peace is cheaper than war".

It can be avoided if the President shld just let go of his vindictiveness and release Kanu. What Ipob are demanding is not much; release Kanu for them then the protest stops. Is it too much to ask?

Release him so that he can continue doing what he is good at.
