How many seriously funded and engaged Universities Of Technology, worldwide ,post this on their official website? Dear General, share your allocation into Ten equal parts, with one, engage in corporate Tithing, the next two, settle the recurrent expenses, Then take the rest to fund Intensive Research and Development Programmes in these, now petty trading, Universities of Technology, then wait to see results in few months time. I am sure your boys won't run when they have locally sourced IT systems boosting communications, surveillance, intelligence gathering, and lots more my tiny mind can imagine, guiding and helping them dominate truly. Psychologists can also develop a model for fishing out officers aiding the terrorists. Combats are no longer a ' you can't catch meee' children's play. You can seek them all out if you invest wisely. Until then, every soldier deserves a pardon should he run from fighting without the 'God's Eye' in his team's possession. #God Bless The Nigerian Armed Forces |

damton:Wrong!!! A soldier is only as good as his training. A well-armed bt poorly trained soldier in combat is just a source of free weapon 4 d enemy. A wise commander if asked 2 choose between weapons or well trained & disciplined men would go with d latter. A well trained soldier is confident in his skills & relies on what he learns in training 2 survive during combat. D quality of training has 2 b critically examined. Is d average infantry NCO well versed in concepts lyk line of fire, defilade, enfilade, supporting fire, suppressive fire, leapfrogging, employment of high calibre weapons effectively in combat situations & oda combat maneuvers? How well stressed is weapon marksmanship? How realistic is d training dey undergo? Do training exercises comprise of just press ups & oda PT while simulated combat exercises r rare or non occurent? R dey given d ryt training 2 fight d right war. High quality training wld reveal also serve 2 separate d wheat 4rm chaff as men who flunk wld likely b among those who would b found want on d battlefield. A well trained soldier goes into war with d knowledge & acceptance dt he might meet his demise but is willing 2 overcome d enemy & survive. Yes d men should b well armed bt I think d COAS needs 2 focus chiefly on d quality & quantity of training these men receive. |
