This happened at Awolowo Way Ikoyi this morning. Some DSS officials forcefully arrested fuel black market sellers on the road and even beat up one of them that refused to be arrested. An eyewitness said one of the dealers was beaten badly and they tore his clothes.

Sharp practices.

But then can you blame them.

If the filling stations had refused to sell their products to kegs, this ones wouldn't take advantage of the unfortunate situation.

And as a result further aggravating the situation

Is it just me who thinks those people haven't done anything wrong.
How many mega filling station who are selling above government price have the so called DSS arrest?? As of last week I bought fuel above 100 naira a liter at nnpc station in warri.
Total, conoil, oando filling station etc are all selling above the government price and nothing have been done to them so far.
From baning I pass my neigbour to this, I think this government is surely against the common man.

Good..

Fuel marketers sell to these people at night and hoard the rest from masses during the day, thereby forcing masses to buy from black marketers at exorbitant prices .

Corruption everywhere.

This is rubbish, they are not criminals,

people that steal from public funds go free while some 1

Looking for what to eat is arrested...

If not failure on the part of the government who will even

engage in the black market

Its the failure of the govt that brings about the necessity to.

have a black market, and most of the ppl doing it are youths
that the govt fails to engage them with employment
