Bros i know where settings is on the phone,i told u i browse with wifi only and i have been trying to browse with my sim data and no success cos i just cant get anywhere i can get to activate that on the phone. With all due respect to the two guys who answered my query for how to ACTIVATE data on a gionee phone, i think we are not understanding each other or u didnt get my question well.I asked specifically how to activate it and yet someone just sent me a reply and say swipe and activate.If i can activate it will i be here asking how to activate the data.

Just a brief explanation wld ve solved this issue if u guys know it.Go to settings,then go to so so so and so and from there u will see activate etc. No be swipe and activate !

If it's MTN, no need to do it manually, it is automatically configured, but Airtel, you will have to configure it yourself manually.

So which line are you having problem with?

i am using airtel on it rite now.
