This is an ambitious budget that is designed for accelerated development however, the budget has some praise, knocks and questions mark remember that budget is the qualitative expression of the government in monetary terms.

How do government intend to borrow to fund the deficit? It will be difficult for the government to raise external loans because of the fast depletion of the foreign exchange reserve which has dampened the confidence of the foreign investor in the ability of the government to serve the debt in the future and internal loans raised may not be sufficient to meet the deficit.

The budget for housing, work and power is insufficient considering the fact that three major sectors that need urgent attentions are combined together and they are key driver of economic growth and development.

I commended the effort of the government to gainfully employ 500,000 teachers across the states . It shows that the government recognise the high level of unemployment in the country.

Government maynot realise so much revenue from other sources such as taxes, import tarrif as the profit realised by most companies across the state are decreasing considering the high cost of running business and the rate of importation is reducing.

I hope the government will implement this ambitious and bold budget to the benefits of all nigerians considering the assumptions upon which the budget was prepared- exchange rates, inflation rate, price of oil barrel in the international market with target sale of 2billion barrel daily and others

I'm optimistic the budget will perform well. Remember, leakages are drastically reduced.

The truth be told, the program will be a serious drainage pipe for public fund. Secondly, with these kind of welfare plan the government of the day is only encouraging the citizens to give birth to the number of children the can't take care of.

Chief Olisa Metuh forgets to point out that in their time crude oil which i the major source of income for the country was sold at $112 per barrel and now its $35. Why rush to query the borrowing and forget the huge benefits that portend from the budget. He should learn to make objective criticisms than these rantings after the shock loss of power to the govt that cares for the poor.

What happened to the federal government share of about 60%?. The matter here is not saving money but was there anytime a concerted effort was made to shift the economy from one product economy. by Dec 2014 the federal government claimed they were borrowing to pay salary and 2/3 of the states are owing workers...meaning that 1/3 of the states were viable as at then. Had the ECA not been shared probably the federal government would have squandered everything and the Pius 1/3 would also have been bearing the brunts of federal government ineptitude. Moreover, why should the federal government consider saving funds for states in the first place (Daddy-Piking relationship)...are thy operating the same budget? even the idea of national minimum wage is sickening

even this kind of budget can make other Africa countries to start sending their citizens to us thinking we have money, this kind of budget can even make dangote increase cement and sugar price, even this kind of budget can make USA start pricing our oil for $10 instead of $30 since they think we have money, this kind of budget can even make boys stop goin to school because they will think the country is too rich, ehn even this kind of budget can make workers ask for increase in minimum wage, it can even make land lords increase house rent, even this kind of budget can make universities to increase tuition, what have we?.... Also this budget can also open up our mining industries and improve our transportation system... I guess many people - including all the juvenile political critics of the individual parties - don't even know that the only reason he left PDP for ANPP back then, which is still the same reason he left ANPP for CPC which eventually merged with other parties to form APC is because he complained bitterly that at every turn he wasn't made the party flag bearer for presidential elections!

He has always made it clear, in every political party he goes that he wants to rule this country and I believe somehow God has blessed him with that opportunity; from May 29 to December 29 will mark exactly 7 months, by december 29 his government will be 7 months old!!
