Cheap and cheerful is what Alcatel's going for with its OneTouch Pixi 3 (3.5), with a solid plastic chassis that doesn't flex too much and doesn't actually feel like a £25 phone - it is rather chunky though. It won't compete with the metal Android flagships out at the moment like the HTC One (M9), but the Pixi isn't trying to, and it's down to the actual software that saves it from the bargain bin.

Full-fat Android 4.4 KitKat is a solid, relatively up-to-date operating system for a barebones budget phone like this, and we're used to seeing.....
