kingsilly:, like I said previously. Go jor, I hate exchanging words on social media, am too big and responsible for such shit, but please it is not your business what people give to men of God, or what people give to God. Stop bringing God's business to a public forum, some people are not strong in faith, your words and writeup can discourage them. So be carefull before God destroy your bighead. |

Weeee: If one is paying their tithe they are paying it to God. and the priests are Gods representatives on earth. that was d base for my saying tights are for priests. in malachi 3:8,GOD said anyone that doesnt pay their tights is robbing him. and verse 10 says bring the ye ALL the tithes into Gods storehouse that there may be food. who is the keeper of the store house? -the priest. and the first ever bible version where it was recorded that tithe was paid was to Melchizedek the king of Salem who was also a priest. Gen14:18-20 recorded that Abraham paid Melchizedek tithe of all, meaning that we can also tithe in other things apart from money. another verse is Gen28:20-22, Jacob made a covenant to pay God tithe of all and said "if you protect me,bless me,and bring me back to my father's house in peace". since God will not come down to take these tithes the priests who are His oracles and mouth piece on earth do take d tithes. if a particular church decides to channel their tithe towards church building, it is their decision and choice. so BIBLICALLY tithes are for GOD, but the priests are being GOD'S REPRESENTATIVES on earth are entitled to have the tithes. BUT if the same priest upon receiving the tithe decides to build d church with it there is nothing wrong with it. my dear if u have a counter responds forward before u detect a person whose head is not correct and with an IQ as low as 10. God bless u. |

1 Peter 2:9 "But you are the chosen people, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a people for His own, that you should show fourth the prises of Him who have called you out of darkness into His light. Then if this is what the Word of God say's, then we are all classed as Priest in the eye's of the Lord. So if I was to give you tithes {money} and you gave someone else money, and someone gave me money-what then? Are we given the money away for the money? Or are we given it to God. miomio: |

Question: "Why do people reject Jesus as their Savior?" Answer: The decision to accept or reject Jesus as Savior is the ultimate life decision. Why do many people choose to reject Jesus as Savior? There are perhaps as many different reasons for rejecting Christ as there are people who reject Him, but the following four reasons can serve as general categories: 1) Some people do not think they need a savior. These people consider themselves to be “basically good” and do not realize that they, like all people, are sinners who cannot come to God on their own terms. But Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Those who reject Christ will not be able to stand before God and successfully plead their own case on their own merits. 2) The fear of social rejection or persecution deters some people from receiving Christ as Savior. The unbelievers in {John 12:42-43} would not confess Christ because they were more concerned with their status among their peers than doing God’s will. These were the Pharisees whose love of position and the esteem of others blinded them, “for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God.” 3) For some people, the things that the present world has to offer are more appealing than eternal things. We read the story of such a man in {Matthew 19:16-23} This man was not willing to lose his earthly possessions in order to gain an eternal relationship with Jesus {see also 2 Corinthians 4:16-18} 4) Many people are simply resisting the Holy Spirit’s attempts to draw them to faith in Christ. Stephen, a leader in the early church, told those who were about to murder him, “You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit!” {Acts 7:51} The apostle Paul made a similar statement to a group of gospel rejecters in {Acts 28:23-27}. Whatever the reasons why people reject Jesus Christ, their rejection has disastrous eternal consequences. “There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” than the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12), and those who reject Him, for whatever reason, face an eternity in the “outer darkness” of hell where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” {Matthew 25:30} It's a choice every one has. Mr no-body went to the Watchtower-that made him cry because he was terrified, because he began realizing they don't worship after God they actually worship after demonic activity they call gods. janetnwando: |
