The last thing Tunde wanted was his girlfriend interference. They had an agreement that she was never to visit home, unless he asked her to.
"What are you doing here?" Tunde asked, visibly annoyed.
"Who is this?" Doyin asked, instead of answering Tunde's question. She eyed Munira with disdain.
"I'll be in my room." Munira said softly and walked away. She didn't want to be anywhere near them when the bomb exploded. She felt like a fool, how could she not have thought that a man like Tunde would have such a gorgeous girlfriend.
"You are not supposed to be here, we....

A new flash fiction is up on Aminatawa Stories! Please go check it out.
I walked in gingerly into the Queen's chambers. I did not know what to expect, I had already gotten the King's permission but it was a conditional one; the Queen had to give her consent too. I didn't know why, but that was the king's order.
I loved the warm cozy smell of the Queen's room. When I was a little child, I refused to sleep in my chambers, only in the Queen's chambers. The lamps were almost out and it made me wonder where the Queen's maid was.
"Your majesty, are you asleep?" I asked, since the room was dimly lit.
"No my child, I am not. And, how many times have I told you not to call me 'your majesty?' Call me Maami, I am Queen to others, but I am your mother." My mother, answered.

Munira was in big trouble, her picture was all over the country. It was only a matter of time before Tunde saw it and returned her back to hell. There was one thing to be grateful for though, Tunde was not a news person. That would buy her some time to escape. But, where would she go? She couldn't go back to her mother's house, she would definitely be sent back to her husband's house.
"Why are you so restless?"

Munira entered the living room and received the shock of her life. Her mother, Doyinsola and the devil himself stood with Tunde in the living room.
"Akinfemi" Munira called, out of surprise and impulse. She covered her mouth with her hands and hoped that Tunde hadn't heard.
"You know these people?" Tunde asked, surprised. And Munira hopes went down the drain.
"I thought you said you did not know who Munira was?" Azeezat yelled and grabbed Tunde's shirt.
"Mom! Please calm down, I can explain everything. Just let go of his shirt, please." Munira pleaded, as....

Munira stepped inside the house, a place she had lived in for five years was now foreign to her. She wanted to get out, this was not the life she wanted, but this was all she could get. She looked around the house and shook her head. This was the life she was destined to have, whether she liked it or not.
"Why are you looking around like that? This is your home, don't pretend that...

Munira dragged one of her bags down the stairs, she had packed everything she owned in a hurry. She intended to leave before Akinfemi came back from work. But, she had already made plans in case he came back before she left; and he did.

“What’s going on here?” Femi’s voice boomed, startling Munira, that she almost fell down the stairs. She stopped dragging the heavy travelling bag, took a....

A val special is up on the blog;
BEFORE VAL
Ifedayo sighed, as Mr Kolawole the maths teacher walked out of the class. “I thought the class would never end.” she said to her best friend and seat partner, Rihanna.

“That man is boring and wicked, I can’t wait to be done with secondary school.” Rihanna answered.

“This people should better stop making noise before they attract the principal and cause trouble for us.” Ifedayo said.

“Leave them alone abeg, I don’t know how this man expects us to finish all these assignments, this weekend.” Rihanna said angrily.

“As if he has forgotten that Valentine is this weekend. Ifedayo added.

“What has val got to do with this, are you going somewhere, do you have a date?”

“Well… not yet but soon”

“What do you mean?” Rihanna asked.

“I…”
