It's probably oil & dead skin. Water + soap is not enough. You're supposed to exfoliate (scrub) on daily basis too, so you dont end up with a grimy towel that looks like a mechanic's oil rag. |

When you clean the Body with a towel, Your Body is devoid of moisture. Now, this moisture that leaves the Body Eventually gets transferred to the medium used in this "De-Moisturization" Process Which happens to be the Towel. This moisture now "inhabits" the Towel, As a result of continued Use of this medium in the"De-moisturization" Process. So the Towel eventually gets dirty & needs to be washed BECAUSE It is a Perfect "Absorber" of Moisture Which when it "Inhabits" the Towel Begins to produce a Foul odor unpleasant & unhealthy for "Inhaling".
