The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity Mallam Garba Shehu has said enquiries about the 2016 budget should be directed to the appropriate quarters. Shehu said this on Twitter in a reaction to the reports that the 2016 budget proposal was missing from the national assembly. The presidential spokesman said, “Enquiries about the budget: Nobody except the President can withdraw the budget. As far as we know, he hasn’t done that. The copies in their hundreds have been delivered to both chambers of the National Assembly. By tradition, once the budget is submitted, it ceases to be our property. Enquiries as to where it is should be directed to the appropriate quarters”.

I think Dasuki visited NASS after which the Budget went missing.

But serious, how will the international community regard us as a country. This joke is becoming too expensive.

There is no news in Nigeria that can surprise me.

Let us wait, if there were any changes in the budget then we know that PMB took it and lied about not taking it. If the budget remains the same, then Saraki must be frustrating PMB or using it as a bargaining chip for his CCT case.

For those worrying about how embarrassing this is, I have to ask...

You did not think about how embarrassing it was to vote a man that:
*did not have provide a certificate
*said he will stabilize world oil price
*said he will make $1=N1
*said an internationally known looter (Abacha) was not corrupt

Now you say it is embarrassing that the Nat Ass. lost the nation's budget...
Everyone knows Nigeria's Parliament is a comic relief...

Men that are paid to make fists and fight
Men that are paid to scale gates and walls

You expect such men to have the decency to keep the budget.

All those that voted PMB forgot that the federal government has three autonomous arms, Executive, Judiciary, and Parliaments. You just changed one man in one arm and expected all your problems to go away. ILLITERACY!!!
