Which Year Has The Best Camry Between 2007-2011 by krisrock(m): 11:47am On Jan 13, 2016

Good day guys. Am looking to get my first car and for some reason I am drawn to the camry referred to as muscle, voltron or spider. For those who have the camry ranging between the years 2007-2011 i would love your advice on which of the years has given you the best experience from ride quality to fuel economy and also maintenance. i am looking to buy the xle trim as well so any advice on this trim or others would be appreciated. Thanks guys

I'm a big fan of the 2007 - 011 Camry for its burgeoning and bulky size, I think the 2010 or 2011 will be your best bet.

The 2009 - 2012 comes with new superb 2.5l 4plugs engine and gearbox thats more durable nd fuel efficient

I think 2010 or 2011..... by then they would correct all the flaws from the earlier ones.... and may introduce newer technology that they have in store for the next generation camrys.

The best among them is 2010 model.... The XLE is the best with features that even the 2011 XLE V6 does not have. I'm looking to get one of these when I'm buoyant enough.

For the 2010 are you referring to the v6 or the 4 cylinder version?

don't really know much about Camry or any Toyota products,I thought 2010 wasn't really good enough......

Do a recent model, at least u r sure to buy a car that has less wear and tear. And all you would do for the next few years is just oil change, brake pad change and tyre change, only.

I have used the 2007 XLE and it was a great ride, I'm currently doing the 2015 SE. In all, Camry's are great cars, except when u don't maintain them.

Does thing's are slow
i have driven lot's of v6 07-12 camry's
They are not very fast compared to honda or nissan's of same year
the cross tour moves better than the venza i'v driven both, But the venza is quick if you put of traction control, mine is always of tho

For your information bro my first car was a V6 Toyota camry! I'm always interested in a car's gadgets before other things. If the interior is loaded, I don't care if its a 2 cylinder car or 20 cylinder. What I'm saying is that the 2010 XLE V6 has no major advantage over the 4 cylinder counterpart. You can research both and see for yourself.

Speed? What speed are you talking about? Are you telling me the V6 has more top speed than the 4 cylinder? Have you ever wondered why they have the same speed on the instrument cluster? What a V6 has over the I4 is 99hp to get there quicker and I bet you if u wanna race me with the V6 and i handle the 4 cylinder, you ain't gonna win. wink

the speedo isnt a yardstick to measure the speed a car can max out. Toyota uses 3 different engines in that camry namely, 2az-fe, 2az-fxe (hybrid), and 2gr-fe with 3 different gearbox a M/T, 5sp auto and 6sp auto respectively. In order to cut cost of production, they use a common speedo.

Your 4 cylinder cant accelerate faster and cant achieve a higher max speed than a 6cylinder or even a hybrid camry.

Theres a reason why the range topping camry is an XLE V6...to get the fullest possible options on a camry, it has to be an XLE V6..
yet Nigerians will never cease to argue blindly, really dont know how you guys wish to prove the i4 is better than the V6,, Anyways, when Nigerians are in line for 6 hours to buy petrol at 80 naira and above per liter, only to burn same petrol in traffic, what do you expect?

I use the 2010 Xle v6, trust me this car is the bomb, I have driven 2 different i4 cars and I can tell you if you try a v6, you might not want to drive the i4 again. Moves faster and more balanced.

OP, what I love about a car may not be what you will love about a car. Some look out for fuel economy, speed, interrior,size, while others may look out for the engine.
