Not exactly. The crux of the matter is that Buhari's agent disrupted a peaceful demonstration of IPOB in NY when Buhari visited NY last year, that led to civil disorder. The police charged both IPOB and the representative of Buhari (Nigeria) to court. I think what the judge may determine will be to restate whether IPOB is right or wrong in their protest. The judge will not go into the details of looking into Nigerias sovereignty as opined by you.

Though the Judge will not make pronouncements or judgement bordering on Nigerias sovereignty, however, if the case goes against Buhari that will have a huge consequences on his administration, because IPOB would have succeeded in exposing him as a tyrant, and that will help whatever cause of actiion IPOB will want to take. Even their case in Hague, will be boosted by this judgement, and if IPOB decides to be violent tomorrow they will claim it's an act of self defence, and that will be backed by the NY court judgement.

Honestly, i implore all umu Igbo to pray for this case. All we need is for the judge to make statement in our favor, Just to indict the Nigerian govt on human right abuses, I tell you that will be a master stroke. Pleas pray and pray, I remember NK talking about this thing last year, but his arrest made me forget it and I think a lot of people also forgot about the case.

I hope IPOB has a sound lawyer, just like NK lawyer in nigeria. Hopefully the judge will give us a favorable judgement, because oyinbo judges no dey take ear hear human right abuse, and thankfully also IPOB leader is in jail I think IPOB has got a lot going for them.

I just hope the IPOB lawyers also show the US court a picture of the lovely unarmed female college student that was gunned down by Mumu's goons at Onitsha. This will help establish a pattern of brutal behaviour by the Nigerian authorities, towards peaceful protesters

The story is very true. But what I don't know is if there will be judgment tomorrow. I think the case will be heard for the first time tomorrow, and the judge may decide to fix ruling at a later date.

If this case goes against Ngeria, the consequences will be so huge, because it will be a morale booster for the Biafrans and will help their case In international PR. However, if it goes against the Biafrans (God forbid) it will shut the Biafran agitation as well. I pray that IPOB wins this case.
