President Buhari has approved the appointment of Shettima Bukar-Abba as the acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, (FCC).

Mr Chucks Okoli, the Deputy Director, Planning and Strategy of the commission, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.


This appointment comes after the sudden demise of the former Chairman of the agency, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Alkali last week Friday January 8th.

Until his appointment, Bukar-Abba was the federal commissioner representing Borno State in the commission.

Though i dont care who runs what but PMB must be ashame of himself...too myopic and narrow minded!
Over to APC E-warriors and janitors to come and justify it,a borno commissioner of Federal character commission replacing the late chairman,what happens to the various executives above him. For me,nepotism is the worst form of corruption because it goes against meritocracy and encourages the 'who know who' syndrom,that has kept our nation on its knees.
