Do you mean like a cream soup? Like clam chowder and potatoes, or cream of broccli, or cream of potatoes or some kind of cheese soup? If that is what you mean then I understand. But I never heard of white soup.

Actually nsala is for the Ibos while afia fere is calabar, they are both white soups.
The calabars use chicken or turkey for theirs and any other combination of good dry fish while Nsala the ibos like to make use of goat meat, snails and other things. For thickner, ibos use cocoyam while calabar makes use of the the yam itself. its really not so difficult to prepare.

afia efere/ white soup or nsala are all the same but different name by different tribe
