The Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway has become a clog in the wheels of motorists after the federal and state governments has neglected the road.

For years now, Motorists plying the road have suffered untold hardship especially at the Ile-Epo bus stop going to Iyana Ipaja, heavy traffic builds up from Super Bus stop to the Iyana Ipaja axis.

Due to many ditches and potholes on the road, motorists spend hours instead of minutes on this route.

LasgidiOnline.com.ng exclusively gathered that the road developed from worse to worst situation as a result of the waste materials coming from the market by the road side which blocked the drainage system.

Motorists will now have to thank the Lagos state government for coming to their aid through the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) as they on site to revamp the road and construct bigger drainage that will the water flow easily.

Meanwhile, the proposed Flyover Bridge at Abule Egba junction is coming to a reality as the construction company has installed a sign board showing that the flyover bridge will take a duration of 16 months.
