********** PLEASE, NO INSULT, NO SARCASM************
Good morning Gentlemen officers

I have a little navel protrusion(umbilical hernia) although, it has never disturbed me in any way. I never knew it was a challenge not until now
I was advised to go for surgery but I felt it's a bit late considering the time left.

My question
1) Should I still go for the surgery (The stitches would be visible )?
2) Should I not show up for the interview?
3) What advice do you have for me?

#N.B : I scaled the medical during 62RC interview.

Any nairalander with useful suggestion

Haba bros, you want to waste that slot?.

Please go for the screening oh.....don't attempt to go under the blade.

First list is a miracle, second list will be the same.

Cheers

guys please offer me advice I just went for test. and I tested positive for hepatitis ! I thinking of really not stressing my self

Hepatitis have various ways of testing.

1. It's either they test for the virus
2. They test for antigens fighting the virus
3. Test ya liver secretion into ya blood.

Do you have symptoms of hepatitis.....headache,upper stomach pain, yellow eyes, brown urine, pale stool, body weakness and pain e.t.c....... if you don't, I think it would be good if you go for another check again.

Seeing this your post scares me to even go for tests, but I would still do so later this week.

If you don't go, then you have wasted a slot.......health is wealth.....I still advise you to try and go for the screening.......

All is well bruh

This is very dangerous, Blood pressure suppressant is a "for life" medication. Once u start taking it, u must not stop taking.

Why not try oda less harmful drugs, like "fish oil". Fish oil will give ur heart d strength/energy to pump Blood with less especially is ur Blood is too viscose.

Blood pressure has reasons triggering it, it could b high viscosity of blood due to lack of adequate consumption of water, typhoid, anxiety, high cholesterol level, hereditary, lack of sleep/rest (restlessness) etc.

Know d reason 4 urs, n fight d enemy!
This is really helpful thank you sir......I think I need enough rest....

I no be oga, just Kodack is enough....Biko.

Any can sign, serving or retired.

But to avoid too much worry, give a copy to your LGA chairman to sign and another to your LGA secretary to sign......then hold an empty copy to the screening Incase you meet an officer with the required grade to sign for you.

Bro you sef reason am na!! If you go under a knife now do you think you will have the strength to do any strenuous activity? If you have being following the thread esp a comment made by someone here concerning the surgery you would have known that simple things like even laughter is prohibited after the surgery talkmore of running.
If they see any fresh stitches on your stomach, that is a no brainer you are so out. So better go like that.

Thanks for prompt and timely advise.

Thanks for finding me worthy of advising you,I'm elated.

I'm a positivist and as such brother, one thing I'd advice you and every other person is to give it a try except it wasnt God that made your enlistment in the shortlist possible. Give it a try, you have NOTHING to lose, try it out and who knows?? You just might scale through, Remember the heart of kings is in God's hand. So, go to the screening with the heart of a believer and positive mindset. Trust me if it's for you, you'd be shocked when your name isn't gonna be called on medical eviction.

Peace bro!
Lt. Dammysmart
You know, having some one like you as an older brother won't be a bad idea.

Thanks for helping me scale the medicals.

Remain Blessed.

You should have done this since in order to start treatment on time.
As it stands now the odds of scaling medical is very bad, I'll advice you to start the Moringa therapy from now(you have no other option now) till the day of medicals, it has the ability to conceal the virus during test.
Go look for the leaves and grind it to powder or better still buy the powdered Moringa, mix like two teaspoon in every meal of yours (be it Pap, tea, soup etc) 3X daily till the day of screening, while at it also get the seeds Chew at least 5 seeds daily.
Caveat
Its at the risk of your BP because its being proven overtime that Moringa causes Low BP and crashes blood sugar.

Wait o... Maybe this was how I passed my medicals last year... I was busy taking moringa coz they said it would be good for the race...stuff was doing something else. Hmmm... shocked
