madridguy: Sorry to disappoint you, the course has changed, if listen to Igbos lately, "it's Bia*** or death" now I think thing are becoming more desperate... Follow the protest you will notice that the Military after shooting and killing unarmed Protesters, it doesn't deter them from coming back the next day and another and another.... That's definitely something to be concerned for. 2 Likes |

247notire: May I ask if they no longer enjoy the amnesty? Were they not paid the allowances lately by this same government. So what is the problem now? Why are we creating and encouraging anarchy in the country. When you take up arms against the government, you are asking for more than you can handle. |

Boko Haram is as good as gone now.The Military effort can now be shifted to Niger Delta. You do anyhow, you get anyhow result.it will take less than 2 months to wipe them out. 1 Like |

PietraK:Did u watch that man's interview on NTA? Asking wat do igbos want. That shows you his mindset on igbos, he feels we disturb too much and shud be quashed with brute force. He doesn't even knw wat he is up against. My problem is this: Some igbos say they no longer want to be part of the entity called Nigeria and want a referendum, what is the wisdom in using brute force against them instead of holding talks with them? Is it until it blows up into a full war that negotiation wud be employed? I for one will no longer fold my arms and watch all these nonsense. If by 2023 nobody has restructured this country or held a Sovereign National Conference to determine if we still want to be together... 2 Likes |

Wallade:Their stated grievance here isn't amnesty is due is it? Fact remains that wateva they say means nothing, na just talk but my point is if they start bombing oil facilities, the govt will be more affected and they can cripple the economy further. hence brute isn't still the best option unless the govt is willing to risk shutting down the refineries for a long long tym. I'm not trying to justify their demands just saying facts as they are... |

No problem, let the federal government also write the national Assembly seeking to make a quick law that any one of these terrorists caught should be handed capital punishment.....capital execution (so that the so-emotional ones would not start crying and making noise when government is dealing with them). After that, go after them one by one and use the caught ones as scapegoats for the rest to learn or be caught as well. These bastards just wake up and think they can hold the country to ransom and be threatening the federal government of Nigeria? If they want it the hard way, give them the hard way. God Bless Nigeria. 2 Likes |

In a nation where some people chose to reason with their eyes, such can't be precluded. There are many igbos in the prison that are unjustly being punished, infact for crimes some know nothing about and Here these people are ranting over just the life of one person. Don't they know some igbos already lost their lives in the struggle for this biafra some months ago? Guess we're not all equal and many igbos would still be slave in their own country even if they have biafra. Boko haram are acknowledged faceless, hence a different ball game from militants who are even known but by the way, no government in the world is ever cowed by militancy but terrorism, it's a lifetime battle. So. Militants should chill, it's either u are crushed or your people suffer it, odi of bayelsa hasn't rang a bell enough to their hearing and the Obasanjo today is living fine. 1 Like |

ellabooz: Nigeria as a country is not doomed but i can assure you that Niger-delta region will be a war-torn region. I only pity innocent inhabitants..... I can assure you that you and the militants ll all cry when Nigeria soldiers finish with that region. Lol!!!! No country in the world has ever fallen as a result of militant threat or economic sabotage. Having tried to bring peace to that region by way of amnesty, what you and the militants don't realise is that both UN and world powers ll be in support of Nigeria army against that region when the right time comes. However, Niger-delta has Igbo inhabitants and i strongly believed that Igbos are behind this. If Federal government finds out that Igbos want to use Niger-delta has a alibi for their selfish desire, then the battle ll be shifted to their door step in the East where the little development in that region goes in flame. Finally, nobody ll pity Igbos this time around. Igbos' cup is full and it's right time to deal with them decisively. What Igbos failed to understand is that Northerners in power will rather die than allow Igbos to have their way. Northerners prefer civil war so as to finish what they could have finished in 70s. It's obvious in their write ups online and attitude in political arena that Igbos are pretty doomed. Read my lips, Northerners are already preparing for civil war if you dont know...... And Heaven ll not fall when Federal government descend on Igbos... 6 Likes 3 Shares |
