The Ngwa are the largest Igbo group. There are about one and a half million of 'em (if internet sources are to be believed.) Igbo Izugbe is a synthesised language, and as such has no native speakers and isn't owned by any of the Igbo groups. |

The Oyo are the largest Yoruba Subgroup , numbering over 7 Million Their Dialect (Oyo Yoruba) is also the basis for Central Yoruba. with slight modifications. |

Radoillo:I think Orlu is Igbo largest group, this is based on their vast landmass and high population density. They constitute upto 8 LGA of Imo west senatorial and 4-5 LGA of Anambra south. Furthermore, they are the most widely travelled Igbo sub group. |

sirade:Old Orlu Division is not an authentic precolonial Igbo group. The current sense of oneness they share dates back only to Colonial coalition of towns and villages into political macro-units for administrative purposes. The same thing can be said of the old Nsukka Division. |
