Interested and qualified Nigerians are being invited by The Federal Ministry of Education, The Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu to participate in the 2016|2017 Nomination Interview for Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Award for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in different fields.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The BEA Undergraduate studies are tenable in Serbia, Egypt, Morocco, Japan, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, Macedonia, Romania, Cuba, Turkey and Algeria

Postgraduate studies are tenable in Turkey, Japan, Serbia, Mexico, China, Hungary, South Korea as well as Russia for those who did their first degree in Russia.

The studies are done in the official language of the awarding country and candidates who are successful must take a one year compulsory language course in the host country before the start of the studies.

Information Technology, Environmental Science Geology, Natural Sciences, Medicine and its other related courses, Petroleum related courses, Agriculture, Law, Research, Engineering, Technology, International Relations, Social Sciences, Management Courses, Languages e.t.c

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY FOR UNDERGRADUATES

Applicant should be 18-22 years old
WAEC OR NECO should be obtained at one seating and should not be more than two years at the time of applying for the award

Applicants should have good grades at least A and B in five important subjects including Mathematics and English

ELIGIBILITY FOR POSTGRADUATES

Applicant should have at least a second class upper degree

Should not be more than 35 years old for Masters and 40 for PhD

Should have an NYSC or Exemption certificate

Applicants should have the following documents attached to their application forms

Birth certificate from National Population Commission

WAEC or NECO for undergraduates and degree or masters for postgraduate applicants

Certificate of state of origin and local government

Four coloured passport size pictures on white background

Original medical certificates with required tests

Police clearance which is optional till nomination is made

Data page of present international passport which is optional till nomination is made

If you have a job provide letter of employment, confirmation of job and willingness of employer to let applicant go if successful
