That man in number ten position is from lassa in Bornu state, is it anyway related to lassa fever?
.
JUst asking.
The rodents that were discovered to be carrying the virus that causes what we now call lassa fever were first discovered in Lassa village in Borno State.

I can see that more than 50% of them were appointed by GEJ or during GEJ tenure.

Attrition rate seems very high at the APEX court!

These judges have laid down a template of rigging, over voting and unprecedented violence for 2019 elections by their judgement on the Abia, Rivers and Akwa Ibom elections. May God help us all.

By 2019 the electoral act must have been ammended. Am sorry, your evil plans will not work.

So what should we do with this really? Justices at that level should be protected from the media especially the highly partisan media we have now.

This thread in the home page is wrong. does it mean the owner of this forum; Seun and the mods no longer know what is wrong?

Besides this Topic is a reaction to the rulings of the supreme court which did not favour the APC.

The person who opened this thread can't without research tell the judges who ruled in favour of APC neither did he find it necessary to publish their details for public scrutiny.

We are degrading our society because of party politics. Judges are not public figures please.

Just to know those behind the recent judgement either for good or bad, we need to know them for future reference ... grin

Public officials are not confidential officials hence the word public. Meaning, it is your social responsibility to know them and we call it civic education. That's all.

Did you watch or listen to their ruling at all? try to. it will open your eyes to the game play that APC initiated but was halted by apex court.

Yeah. Accoring to Google Lassa fever is named after that town in Bornu following IRS first outbreak. You can Google to find out more.

I like this, mostly Northerners showing they have the mind of their own and not driven by sentiments.

If they are bribed at that level, then they are greedy.

There is no moral reason for publishing this kind of article. So if an APC member loses at the supreme the judges are all bias. APC =one party state.

What is this one saying? These are public officials who should be known by majority of citizens.

The OP copied this info from the website of the supreme court.

Every public official who is sure of his integrity should not be afraid of public scrutiny. This is not a military regime, or the olden days with few educated who in turn tell fables to the less educated.

You must be a serious joker to imagine that getting people to know the supreme court justices we have is tantamount to degrading our society.

Judges are public workers and are subject to the scrutiny of the public.

You are speaking from an ignorant perspective. How many justices do you see up and down. Their position does not demand that and a lot is done to protect these people. Secondly, the thread was just a reaction to political sentiment.

Sorry But Judges are not public figures.. Their position forbids such. Know that today. politics aside. Or you want to put a mic and a camera in front of a judge? Pleease.

You are actually the one suffering from chronic ignorance. Why are u overhyping justices of the law??

For goodness' sake they are not DSS agents. That u live in a village and don't get to see Justices of the law except maybe once in 5yrs doesn't mean that is the norm.

There is no big deal in that. Go and check most cases reported by the media, they usually have the name of the judge and his verdict clearly written there. Their work is not a secret service work.

Kindly heal yourself of ignorance.

The original idea in the thread and the OP in no way bore political sentiment. It is your own prejudiced mind that is making it seem so.

The thread is in response to the growing popularity of the supreme court. The thread is meant to educate ignorant folks like you about Justices of the supreme court.

They are not spirits. They are also blood and flesh like the Executive and the Legislature and people deserve to know them.

there is nothing special about these guys. as a matter of fact judges in Nigeria belong to the gang of lazy, indolent lawyers with entitlement mentality. all top rated and resourceful lawyers develop into brilliant advocates of the law. but the ones who just push files and are obedient to their masters rise gradually to become judges. that's why you see many hausa there, lazy people who cant compete with their peers and excel. what about the women? well women are not that adventurous. just go to the office, push files and come back home to cook for the kids and 25 years down the line you become a supreme court judge. honorable my foot
