I'm not against strategy (if sanctioned by God)but itz unwise to leave substance to chase shadows,if Valentine was showing the love of Christ,why can't those who cannonized him not point people to the true source?Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.There's no greater love than what was demonstrated by Jesus.

The early church which transforms pagan festivals by giving them Christian meaning, decided to do away with the pagan element which was eroding the faith of the early Christians by substituting the names of saints for those pagan gods and goddess.

If you knew Christ replaced Adam you wouldn't ask the question. This is one of the ways the work of the enemy is destroyed. Catholic church knows better than you. Though the enemy is a resilient one, if not, none would still be sinning aftet Our Saviour's death and the Church's efforts.

Not all Catholic feast are gotten from Pagan worship or rituals. With the exception of a few like Christmas (Previously worship of the sun god) and valentine day (Lupercalia by the ancient pagans) The others are derived from the lives of individuals who lived good lives while on earth. Hope that satisfies your curiosity.

Not all really..... The early church did it so as to eliminate all pagan traditions in Rome

That should be none of your business. Your personal encounter with the Christ is what matters and not a canonical or conviction from a group of religious fellow. Please valentine is a day celebrated of evil and it doesn't show love of Christ in anyway. Stop confusing men
