Pls in this heat time here in Abuja, is it normal and healthy for a 20 months old baby to be sleeping directly under a ceiling fan air. And is sleeping on bare floor ties good for baby too?

Not directly under the fan so it doesn't blow particles inside her lungs and that causes irritation there which leads to allergies/respiratory illnesses.

Let the baby sleep beside you on the bed.
And as for the sleeping directly under the ceiling fan, it is not advisable, it could lead to cold and/or respiratory problem.

Nobody should sleep on bare tiles,adults or babies.It will give you body aches.
You should get a camp mat or folded blanket if you decide to sleep on the floor.
A child directly under a fan can predispose the child to having respiratory problems.

I think sleeping on the floor during cold season causes pneumonia aside the aching problems the child might face. Similarly sleeping under a Fan mait not be too good except when the weather is extremely Hot.

It's because of the hot weather. She sleeps on her crib, but goes down on her own and sneakes into the living room to sleep on the floor. She always refuse any attempt to take her up from the floor.

Isn't she a bit too old to be sleeping in a crib, just saying? Like chidoks said, let her sleep beside u on the bed. You guys can sleep naked since the weather is so hot , but not on the tiled floor. It does not retain heat and will remove all the warmth from the baby which can lead to pneumonia. Then there's the risk of her inhaling dust and getting bitten by crawling insects. Then body and joint pains. Bad idea generally.

Keep her in your bed, let her sleep inside while u sleep outside so if she wants to sneak out u will know. Also rub her baby dusting powder to keep her cool.
