veraponpo: You think you made sense with that rubbish you wrote up there? okay, look The expenditure ballooned under Jonathan because in part, the minimum wage was increased to 18000 (increase in salary across board,) Increase in NYSC allowance from 7500 to 19800, and many other things (I'm too tired to type long story) All the facts have to be stated |

I could have accepted Fayose's critical views on federal government policies and activities if he (Fayose) has demonstrated capacity, knowledge, creativity and intelligence in bringing about positive transformation programmes to Ekiti state. Just as he claims that nothing is happening at federal level; some of us who visit home regularly know that his performance record is D-. In his meet your governor programme last week he said "Ekiti state last allocation from federation accounts was N1.3billion while salaries for workers is N2.6billion." From commonsense, it's very clear that the state is financial mess and requires people of ideas to work toward lifting the state up economically. It is almost certain that way the governor and his team are running the affairs of the state CAN NOT propell Ekiti to economic prosperity. While he continues to enjoy the cheap popularity amongst the poor masses, let him ponder on the wise saying that "Intelligent people are open to new ideas, in fact they seek after them." |

Btruth: Suggestions? 1. Buhari acknowledges that he doesn't have a basic understanding of economics, as was written in that WAEC book by AO Lawal, 1st ed, 2. Forgo his blind perception of what the right economic path should be, and appoint people who "know" and not people he likes. 3. Stop all this unnecessary travels and focus, or even pretend to focus on the economy for once. Just a start! |
