Before event could be internalized
Between frame of intervals
Aeons ago unheard of
Time was in gestation
Unknown if it would ever be born

Finally time began
And time came of age
Gave birth to instances
Some too minute for reason (nano second)
Other within scope of reason (hours and days)
And some outright out of scope (light years)
Now time is old

Eternity is being conceived
But not for us to witness
In our present form
For we are a product of time and space
Logically and unarguably finite

Body, soul and spirit
But time and space can have the body
Let eternity be born with the spirit
And immortality the soul
Still I ponder what gave birth to
And was before time.
