johnydon22: Atheists like North Korea's Kim feed humans to dogs . Why haven't you addressed such barbarism . Why are you always disingenuous ? The story celebrates the significance of faith and obedience Do you know also know that there is a correlation between the story of the Abraham and his son Issac with Jesus' ? 1 Like 1 Share |

johnydon22: Bravo Johnnydon, This thread must make FP. I havee said it severly that these Bible characters being magnified as faithfuls are barbarians. Abraham, moses isaac elijah and the gangs alike are terrorist.........a wicked creature with no name.....The one Called Moses has really baffled the devil....he recruited a gang of thieves who specialise in stealing and sharing female virgins.... Ride on johnny, we are behind you jare. 1 Like 1 Share |

KingEbukasBlog:I'd condemn Kim Jun anything his name is anytime any day if i get any information on his deed like i did on a thread about him in the culture section. he is a tyranic psychopath I condemn barbarism when ever i see or hear one, pointing out a different action does not and will never justify another. . Both are barbaric!!! Morality is doing the right thing no matter what you are told or who says it, that is my own idea of morality i don't know about you. Because am sure if my dad sends me to kill, he will get a middle finger as a reply, i'd damn obedience anytime anywhere to uphold what is right.. Blind conformity to authority will always remain the greatest enemy of truth. That is a cliche move i have heard severally and it doesn't justify any at all and i see the Jesus death tale to be an even more show of barbarism. The question remains If God ask you to murder your son, would you obey or disagree? 8 Likes 2 Shares |

KingEbukasBlog: AbegiiIi, insanity does not pass for faith and obedience. How come he now realise he had plenty of beast in his compound when one of them caught his attention.....on the contrary isaac also wanted to be sacrificed as an animal or what And did not border to defend him self when he was about to be killed ....or did he also hear a voice telling him that he should submit him self as a human sacrifice 1 Like 1 Share |

johnydon22: God is an all knowing entity , so why should He test Abraham when fully He knew Abraham would carry out the task ? Was it really a test ? Or did the event happen for a purpose ? And if you understand the correlation between the story and the life of Jesus you'd understand why the event happened . Abraham’s obedience after 'being pushed to so hard to the wall' provided an example for us to follow. He was given what seemed an impossible task and he obeyed . And again , the Old Testament story of Abraham is the basis of the New Testament teaching of the atonement, the sacrificial offering of the Lord Jesus on the cross for the sin of mankind. So you are asking the wrong question because you don't understand the significance of the story . Pay attention to the word "significance" and then the statements in bold 2 Likes 3 Shares |

For one to uphold the barbaric act of those characters in the holy books...hum, i will not be ruling out a diagnosis of an insane delusion. KingEbukasBlog:Hahahaha you have already said everything with the coloured text which is "obedience no matter what" There is no way it works because no matter what any sane mind would time and again advocate for what is right instead of blind obedience.. Obedience against what is right is evil in it essence.. however you put it or wriggle around it the story was clear "Abraham had the stomach to attempt murdering his son" and you call that a good example to teach you obedience… that is spectacular.……There is and will never be a good example in such show of human savagery and mindless conformity to convictions. You still didn't answer would you attempt killing your son (for what ever flimsy reason you gave up there) or simply refuse such barbaric charge.. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

johnydon22: Killing one's son is an impossible and despicable task but actually since its God - the embodiment of good moral standards - Abraham deemed it justifiable . Its ambiguous - a two way interpretation . His action - obedience and faith - is exemplary to Christians and then its correlation to Christ's purpose for man kind , With this understanding , God can't tell me to kill my son or go have sex with a random chick 2 Likes 2 Shares |

KingEbukasBlog: I have read it and don't agree that God ordered human sacrifice, If significance is what you are driving home. Then the story is a bad illustration of faith and obedience.....it is rather insignificant.....i cannot attempt to sacrifice a being for a god....get that into your head. 1 Like |

KingEbukasBlog:Lmao.. It remains no matter the wriggles that it can never be justifiable because we could then conclude the women in the OP also are justified. blind obedience and mindless conformity to any authority will always remain an enemy of truth and morality.. Doing what is right is and always be better than obedience. In what ever way you interpret it will never make such an act justifiable or make it a true example worthy of emulation. If Abraham rather said "No i cannot bring myself to kill a child talk more of my own son" then that would have been an impressive stance worthy of emulation.. I like the way you keep dodging the question, if you really think Abraham was justified and his actions a good example, you wouldn't be dodging to answer, after all if you Obey God you are automatically Justified God told Abraham didn't he? would you obey or not? 8 Likes 4 Shares |

KingEbukasBlog: Lol. Bubu, the flood is a myth and that alone is enough to end this discussion. However, I'll pretend that the story is true and that I'm also emersed in the delusion you hold so dear. Johnny has brought up several instances of people who gave birth after the flood, lol, and certainly there are many cases of people who don't believe in your god having such experiences. Therefore, what your god did isn't so special because other gods have performed the same "miracle" on their adherents. The fact your god aided and abetted in the crime of attempted murder is the topic of discussion. Both it and Abe need to visit a psychiatric institution. Unfortunately both of them only exist in the real of "imagination". 3 Likes 1 Share |

KingEbukasBlog: God's behaviour shows that he's not perfect. In fact, the biblical God acts exactly like a human with superpowers. He follows the thought patterns of primitive men. This is because he was created by primitive men. Also, I started answering those questions. But then I realized that the original author of the questions didn't know what he was talking about. He talked about obscure theories that had no way of disproving the evolution theory. I thimk his aim was to make evolutionists lose interest since they'll have to do so much research. I'm a well-read guy not a supergenius who knows every obscure theory that may or may not relate to evolution. 1 Like 1 Share |

johnydon22: Dodging a question ? Its like forcing the teacher in a physics class to answer a question pertaining economics . You are asking the wrong question because its not relevant in any way or form . Apparently , you are obdurate about your opinion even after the explanations have been made . You didn't do your homework bro . You never paid attention to significance of the event - the exhibition of faith and obedience and its correlation to the life of Christ . As a smart guy , I expected you to ask how and why , what if etc but off course your intentions are now so clear I think my explanations were succinct and cogent , you just chose to ignore them 1 Like 1 Share |

There are theories that claim the man was made from nothing and fruits also appeared to keep him nourished . Please its too early to tell bad jokes Also, I started answering those questions. KingEbukasBlog:Hahahahaha the OP was not about the existence or inexistence of any God, in fact it never mentioned that premise. The OP was on the Character Abraham and the the mindless celebration of such despicable figure not whether any God exists or not.. Common mehn you got to learn "Premises as regards discussions" not go pull out unrelated topics from no where to derail the subject at hand.. 5 Likes 3 Shares |
