Very apt. Surprisingly it's mainly the black race that always lament about racism and have cultivated the habit of wincing about racial attacks. Were this letter scripted by a black dad about his daughter not dating a white dude it won't have made headlines on any blogs.

I'm particularly bemused why we are always lamenting about being victimised by racial scathing remarks when we think less of anyone whose tribe isn't same as ours. For anyone who doesn't share similar religion/tribe or perception to life they are pariahs and must be excluded from our clique and associates.

More worrisome is the fact that Westerners who have proven to more receptive, and indiscriminating to people of all races, gender, religion, disability etc are the ones who are continually being accused of racism.

The West are no saints, no one is, but one thing I'm certain about is that they are the most compassionate, tolerating and hospitable race among all races.

Were the black dominated countries as productive, resourceful and wealthy we wouldn't have tolerated and receptive to non black races like they are to us. I'm fed up with the black man always claiming victimisation of racial abuse, really.

well said bro... there is discrimination everywhere and we Africans are equally discriminating others left, right and center. i will even say that Africans in Africa are the worst as they will voice their narrow minded tribalistic/religious views openly. one simply has to read a few threads on NL to understand how mentally damaged many are.

in the west, since 9/11, we have more and more racists voice their ignorance by calling/viewing all muslims as terrorists.... but thats a tiny minority, and the majority of people know better.

many will be foolish to think that the popularity of Donald Trump (and his very narrow minded views) today has anything to do with the US nation being racist.... while they forget that a black man was elected twice in a row as the US president. that would have been IMPOSSIBLE if the majority of americans were racists.
