To krissysfit, In the US, a lien usually means that an item has not been paid off. As this is a Canadian car, I believe it means the same thing over there. If you buy a car with a lien, the lien holder may come after you for the balance of the lien. When I clicked on the "Ontario Lien Search" link, they asked for $8 for the report. To davidylan, In my opinion, the car has the following good and bad points: The Good Points 1. It has very low mileage for a 2001 car. 2. It had regular oil changes. 3. It was driven in Syracuse and Ithaca which are University towns in New York State. The Bad Point 1. It has had 2 or 3 owners in the past 8 years. Conventional wisdom has it that cars driven by one owner are better maintained than those driven by multiple owners. If possible, talk to the seller first and see if there are any problems with the car. |

davidylan: If you dont mind me barging in. I thinks it should be a good buy. Why? The vehicle was sold as a "certified used vehicle" after the 2nd owner. The third owner only put about 40k miles on it in 3+ years. Which falls in line (even slightly below) the norm of 15k per year. Physically inspect the car and see if you like it and clean enof for your liking. I will jump on it myself. No shaking at all.
