The FRSC was established on 18th February 1988 by an act of the National Assembly referred to as FRSC Est Act 2007 as amended. As the lead agency on traffic management in Nigeria, FRSC is empowered to ensure safety on our roads, clear obstructions, provide prompt rescue service among others. The same law also empowers them to bear arms. See FRSC establishment act section 19. In the light of this, I think the Federal Government should Empower them to assist the Military in rehabilitating the victims of Boko Haram and also compliment the efforts of the police and other security agencies.

Nigeria and our way of thinking, the FRSC weren't Armed they pose a dangerous threat to d populace by running after motorists and okadas on roads to cause needless and life taking accidents.
Arming the FRSC as far as am concerned will be another disaster much more likely than the Police.
