In recent times members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State have been facing harassment, unlawful arrests and killings from both men of the Nigerian Army and hired Cultist by the Apc, each day comes with it's own sad story all around Rivers State, From the Ogoni Killings To Onelga raid down to Asari-toru, Ahoada west and east destructions.

The Apc in Rivers state have vowed to Win the Rerun elections coming up in the state on the 19th of March by all means, just like the State Executive Governor said on radio some days back, the Apc have already hatched plans to rig the forth coming elections in the state by all means possible and this includes to unlawfully arrest, intimidate and kill PDP members just as we saw in Ogoni land, their are also plans by the Apc to arrest and kill top PDP chieftains, Officials, traditional rulers/chiefs and highly placed government appointees.
We are calling on the good people of this Nation with conscience and the international community to know what the good people of Rivers State have been subjected to and at the same time send out a strong message to detractors that no amount of intimidation will stop members of PDP and men of free will to choose their leaders. We will protect and defend our mandate and resist any attempt by Either the Apc, Inec, The Army, Cult groups etc to rig the forthcoming elections.

Those youths who had all those guns and ammunition in ogoni land and were able to match the Nigerian Army fire for fire are the ones facing harassment abi? Só you prefer ogoni to be a land where youths who are not in the millitary to continue to harbour millitary hardware abi? I hope you live in rivers state and I hope you and your family will not be victims of the arms in rivers state. It's now left to you to behave yourself and say Amen.
