I just need public opinion on the issue of whether to totally cut exes off in order to really move on with someone else or to keep them around as friends(I don't really believe in this)....I have personally experienced a case where there was this ex of my boyfriend who simply didn't go away, she was so active in the relationship..He mentioned her name every single time and one day i simply couldn't take it anymore...What do you guys think?...Is it right?...Shouldn't the ex be kicked out....They belong in the past and not the present

It depends on how you broke up. There are people who build solid friendship before or while dating, everything works well for them except love.

I am one of them, we started as good friends then became lovers but things didn't go well between us as lovers so we dropped love to continue with our friendship.

It isn't easy, trust me.....It was excrutiating just enduring it....All I did was wish that he would simply forget her and put her behind for real but that's not working out so well.....sigh
