I was doing a musical research on youtube, and i stumbled on a song my late grandfather loved so much when he was alive before 1992. The song stimulated some nostalgic reaction in me. It was celestine ukwu's music, my dad and grand dad's favourite.
I found out he died in 1977 in a car accident before the age of 40, 7 years after the war, he surely made a lot of people happy.

Does anyone know where he died?

According to his guitarist, he died at Ogidi with his friend who bought a new car. They went out socialising when they were hit by a trailer. Both died on the spot.
