Disappointing half.
The Wingers are doing absolutely nothing
Only Ihenacho and Odion look lively.

if the MF are not ready to step up and show sme quality on the ball then Mikel should bypass them altogether and lump the ball into the box and hope for knockdowns.
No need to deceive ourslves with aimless passing. Giving the ball to Musa seems to be a waste of time as it looks like he left his football brain in the hotel.
No meaningful attacks from the right like we have forgotten that part of the pitch exists.

Changes needed if we don't get a fluke goal
Re: Nigeria Vs Egypt AFCON Qualifier: 1 - 1 On 25th March 2016 by TheGoodJoe(m): 5:54pm On Mar 25, 2016
Our attackers are too stretched out. Coach Siasia and his crew should advise the attackers to drop a bit deep to coordinate with the midfield and Wingers.

If we stay stretched out, the midfield will have a tough time getting the ball to the strikers. If the strikers get the ball more often, they will blend into the game and draw the Egyptian defenders out of their position.

The attackers are too far, which is making it difficult for the midfielders to get to them. If their deeper, we can reach the strikers with short passes, the attackers combine with the Wingers and each other to unlock the defense.

As if the technical crew know anything about football, too much sense for them to comprehend

sad ...why Dem no fix the match to a place like Ibadan or so cry... The weather has been unfriendly, I guessed thats what leads to our low performance

And to Mikel, he has not been the pulling the team... He should motivate the team by dribbling alittle bit into the midfield with some accurate shot into the net, chai he no learn from the almighty Jay Jay undecided

So far so good. I don't know how some people watch football sef. U expect Nigeria to just wipe Egypt 3 0 maybe in the first half before u know the Eagles are doing well?
Maybe una think football na handball.
How many times did Egypt make an attempt in the first half?
Instead of supporting our boys, they will be here bad mouthing..
If Nigeria win now, u will see them shouting 'up mikel', 'musa is a good player' etc.
Nonsense

Moses simon is the only one doing it it for me no other player is adventurous efe ambrose tried it i think everybody is playing safe musa is disappointing
first first touches are poor for a winger, iheanacho is a looming danger as well as odion, mikel dey suprise me (in a good way) but nigerias problem is mostly midfield no ginger ginger midfielders very slow midfielders if Egypt scores in their next counter attack it'll be bad for nigeria

True
Hence my suggestion for Mikel to lump it.
They are clearly not interested in dropping deep to get the ball

Honestly I don't know fantastic you guys want se to perform when the pitch is too poor, even Lionel Messi can't play well on this kinda pitch....you guys should be happy that this match is being played on this kinda pitch because had it been the match was played on a very smooth pitch these Egyptians woulda been more deadly and dangerous especially that no 7 and no 10.....they are both skillful
