So so unfortunate that these saboteurs succeeded in sabotaging Gej's good plans for Nigerians.

But the program really helped a lot of people though.

The aggrieved employees, in a petition, said they were forced to purchase the FTF forms, which were supposed to be free at the rate N30,000 each despite their impoverished situation, only to be employed, used and abandoned.

The petition reads in part, “We wish to cry out and seek for your urgent help over the fraudulent extortion from us and dehumanisation of our lives under the SURE-P/FERMA employment programme, named Federal Task Force by the above-listed names and other officers (Directors) on the following pretences and tricks.

“We were recruited and employed for the past three years without any training allowances; no salary and other allowances were paid to us.

“We were mandated to pay for the Presidency SURE-P/FERMA Task Force forms.

“We bought the forms with inscription ‘NOT FOR SALE’ boldly written on it at an average amount of N30,000 each.”
Some of the task force commanders have since fled the country.

Don't forget, the petition leading to this discovery was made by Nigerians employed under the SURE-P scheme. Ordinary Nigerians, many of them supporters of the previous government. Point is, this is not entirely about the Govt but our People.

One of the first signs of a healthy economy is the government's willingness to fight corruption.

So that foreign investors can come into the country and do their business without worrying about having to pay bribe to some fat Alhaji or Chief in the requisite Department.............

I know of a foreign seismic oil service company that parked up and left the country, because corruption long before the Haliburton Scandal.

One of the scam gej implemented.

Sure-p's office at toll gate in Lagos demolished weeks before may 29, 2015.

The result of this scam= millions of duped (financially, physically and emotionally) jobless youths.

The same jobless youths insulting Buhari forgetting the people that put them in their situation

Someone is being probed for stealing funds meant for reinvestment into the economy and you are shouting no one is talking about the economy?

Keep your hatred for PMB aside and face the facts please.

So that foreign investors can come into the country and do their business without worrying about having to pay bribe to some fat Alhaji or Chief in the requisite Department.

And so that Nigerian investors would be able to save more money without having to pay kola for every step they take.

So that projects can be completed on time, and with the right equipment...which means that they work well....which means good light, water, and transport facilities.

And finally, a corrupt free society means increased amounts of dollars in the savings account....which could help buffer the Naira....making it stronger....and provide more cash for government to spend on the good things of life....like roads, railways, education, health, etc.

I am really surprised that you are blind to the benefits of fighting corruption on the economy. Or maybe you were one of the beneficiaries too. Better free yourself from mammon slave. Take your time.....Nigeria don change.

Thanks for opening the blinds eyes with your comment. That's simply the end result of the anti corruption war. It's needed. A lot has been stolen in this country that has gone unaccounted for.

Corruption is the reason Nigeria is where it is today. This is not about GEJ, PMB, PDP or APC. It is about Nigerians who steal our collective wealth, live flamboyant lifestyles and laugh when we say there is poverty or unemployment.
They have stolen enough money to win elections, sway sympathy, get Chieftancy Titles, keep their families abroad and still be called Elder Statesmen. Most unfortunate is that several youths will still come to their defense and abuse
the government/EFCC or the President for trying to fight corruption. I just pity una for that country.

Wow !!! I owe you LUNCH as this is the MOST sensible comment I have ever seen on Social Media in recent times . God Bless you for that .

Thank you Lord for ensuring that Goodluck Jonathan was not re-elected! Every corner you turn, it was corruption, corruption, and corruption!

Chief of Defence Staff, Badeh- multi-billion naira loot, purchase of multi-million houses for his sons
Dasuki the Sokoto Prince- ATM General of the Federation sharing blood money with reckless abandon for spiritual prayers, etc
Madam PTAD from Canada-stealing of pensioners' billions with impunity
Rasheed Maina-looting of billions of pension funds
SURE-P- free looting, sale of forms for N30,000 with clear inscription of 'not for sale', impoverishing the already poor applicants and their parents
Other Service Chiefs- freely served their pockets and the pockets of their wives with billions of naira
Diezani-Jide Omokore-and others oil deal triangle either billions of dollars stolen
Etc, etc, etc

The sad part is that deluded youths whose heritage is being looted will be the first to praise these looters for tribal and religious reasons!

Current generation of Nigerian youths must be the most stupid ever created by God! How any educated person could support his/her oppressor is beyond the incredible!

2 millions of Kano people just lost their jobs due to non-availability of pure water to sell/hawk.

The rot we are in today is because of corruption.

Research how much revenue we made as a nation during the oil boom era, cross check with how much development was done and what we have left today.

That should give you an idea of the importance of corruption. Without tackling it, you might as well be trying to fill a basket with water. As long as the water keeps flowing, you dont think there is a problem until the water stops to flow.

None lost their jobs during GEJ;s tenure.

As per loss of lives, Fulani cattle rearers and Boko Haram combined have killed more people under Buhari's administration than in GEJ's 6 years tenure.

I understand that your propaganda party has turned all of you to pathological liars but you should mind those you lie to as some of us are scholars.

#no light
#no water
No fuel
#businesses crumbling
#loss of jobs
#naira fall
#denial of election promises.

People are angry.

These are the kinds of things that caused revolution in Egypt and Lybia.

Buhari should be very very afraid.
