Car Talk › Re: Why Are Honda Vehicles Always Doing This? (Photo) by 29Ade07: 11:26am On Feb 10 |
Brother, you are using new parts which are usually substandard. No matter how new it looks, the material specification is hardly right. We really don't have OEM parts in Nigeria, if you see them they are usually expensive, so you will keep in having that issue if you are buying new parts. The solution in this country is to always buy tokunbo as those ones are original parts from cannibalized vehicle. I use to have the same issue until I switched to tokunbo and have not had it for years now. Pauldollars: Are there Solutions to this problem with Honda vehicles in newer models? |

The practice of being a Nazarene symbolized by wearing of hair with lock ended with old testament. It was a sign of consecration unto God under the law. In new testament, God no longer demand external sign but a new heart and spirit. Something internal. You have never seen Jesus so you can't tell how long his hair was. Additionally, if Jesus had long hair like women then Paul by the Spirit would never have written to Corinthians to tell them that a long hair is woman's glory but dishonourable to a man. The God head would be contradicting himself. To this,I say God forbid. Xmen149: I thought Sampson and John the baptist had dread Jesus had long hair like women of his time.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure having these seal the Lord knoweth them that are his key everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Before you adopt a practice as a Christian ask yourself if Christ the author and finisher of the faith practiced and teach such. Also did the apostles do anything like that either by word or practice. Don't copy anybody you see because that person will not give account for you at the end. Be intentional and deliberate about your Christian life.. cutecommend: Will you take serious a male evangelist if you see him sagging his trouser to preach? If a so-called born again christian goes to bleach his or her skin, or goes for BBL, will you take them serious?
Now if you say: "show me in the Bible where doing dreadlocks for guys is a sin". What if I tell you to show me in the bible where sagging trouser & wearing big chain, smoking weed and bleaching are clearly called sin? you may never find it: but are they good for a born again Christian? Never.
If you are truly a born again Christian, you must walk in the Spirit. You cannot be worldly or fleshly: and if you truly have the Spirit of God working in you, He can never tell you or permit you to do tattoo, dreads etc. It is only the fleshly and worldly nature that can make someone desire to appear like the world.
A true born again Christian must align with Jesus Christ always, and will never put up an appearance that will hinder the gospel or create doubts in the mind of those who will receive the gospel from them.
Note: God will never adjust His standards to fit into the world or trends. And If you say things have changed, God's holiness and judgement in eternity has not changed. |

Refined sugar that is sold and added to food is not good because it is easily absorbed by the body which causes a sudden spike in glucose level and forces to body to produce insulin to deal with it. This is not healthy. The carbohydrates that we eat (e.g yam, garri, brown rice e.t.c) naturally comes with fibre which moderate the conversion and release of glucose into the blood stream which is an healthier alternative. The rule of thumb is eat natural and organic while shunning processed food by all means erniok: Sugar is not the killer. Excess sugar especially as an adult is. Romance › Re: 26-year-old Woman In Tears After Discovering Husband Is 51, Not 34 by 29Ade07: 8:06pm On Jan 22 |
The love of money is truly the love of all evils. The desire to create content for pecuniary reasons has pushed many beyond the cliff of morality and reason. How can a 26 year old not differentiate a 51 year old from 34 year old. It does not add up. DyshApp: A 26-year-old newly married woman has stirred mixed reactions online after revealing that her husband allegedly lied about his age before their marriage.
The lady identified as @Idarabasimi took to her X page to narrate this.
According to the woman, she got married in December after dating a man who had consistently told her he was 34 years old.
However, her world reportedly came crashing down when she recently stumbled on his official documents while going through his files.
She disclosed that she found his international passport, which showed his year of birth as 1972, indicating that he is actually 51 years old.
The shocking discovery left her emotionally distressed, as she said she had been crying since realizing the truth.
When confronted, the man reportedly dismissed her concerns, insisting that age is just a number and claiming he was unaware that he was already 51 years old. This response further deepened her pain and confusion.
The woman expressed regret over her decision, noting that she had previously turned down a 37-year-old suitor, only to end up marrying a much older man who allegedly deceived her.
She lamented that in ten years’ time, her husband would be in his sixties while she would still be in her thirties.
She said …
“I am a young girl of 26 years who got married in December.
My husband told me he was 34 years old when we were dating. Today, I was going through his file and documents and saw his passport where his birth year was stated as 1972.
This means he is 51 years old.
I have been crying since I stumbled on this. When I confronted, he said age is just a number and that he didn’t know he was up to 51 years old. Can you imagine?
In 10 years, he will be 61 years old while I will be 36 years. He has apologised but will I ever forgive myself for making this type of mistake?
I rejected a 37 year-old man, 51 year-old man deceived me and married me. Will I ever forget about this? Should I go for a divorce? I never planned for this type of life. Not that he is rich, I only married him to build with him.” |

Before then I have been trying to change the whole last weeks of December, even on Christmas eve and the 25th I was still holding myself, the urge to patronise them kept calling but I kept my cool was adamant on my resolution but on new year eve I lost it all and the relapse is so bad that I haven't rested since Jan 1.

I know it's the price I got to pay for starting with prostitute in my teenage days and it became a habit but now it's getting worse and I'm starting to think this isn't normal, they've gotten to me.
If I know anyone to go tomorrow to get a permanent solution even if it means paying for it I will. I met a pharmacist sometime last year if there's any medication I can take to kill my sex drive. He didn't give me a reasonable response, I just need help on how to reprogram my life, my brain to live like a normal human being with purpose and focus in life other than patronising prostitutes..it gets so bad that I take loans from friends and app to expense this lifestyle. I can't watch 2026 passed me by yet again with this kind of living. Now I am sober but give me 24hrs time especially tomorrow Sunday, I'm back to the same ways.

That is because the reasons behind the design of both genders are diametrically opposite but complementary. Man was created to fulfill a specific purpose while the woman was created to help the man. A woman will naturally gravitate towards a man that is going somewhere good or bad irrespective of the morphology of the man. That's speaks volume. India want to play smart as not to provoke other possible options. I repeat India and China can never be bed-fellows.Do you think India does not want to exert the same influence that China is having in the Indo-Pacific region knowing that India has even surpassed China in terms of population. All the so-called indices you mentioned all exists in the western world yet single motherhood and baby mamas is pervasive. Take at look at London for example, many young white and black female all over the street of London with baby buggies. How about United States where all lot of our black sistahs are overcome by this trend. The point is all the indices in your last paragraph cannot provide answers to this menace. QuinModah: Yes, the rise of baby mamas and sugar daddy culture in Lagos is undeniable. But calling it a “silent epidemic” might overlook the bigger picture — human choices shaped by context.
Not every “baby mama” story is rooted in desperation or moral decline. Some women are choosing single motherhood on their own terms — out of a desire for independence, control over their lives, and freedom from the instability of many modern marriages. For them, it’s not about a quick bag, but about owning their narrative.
Similarly, not every older man in these relationships is exploiting the young. Some genuinely provide mentorship, companionship, and even support education or businesses. While money is often part of the arrangement, in a city where survival itself feels transactional — rent, jobs, politics — who decides what makes one relationship “real” and another “fake”?
The Cultural Double Standard
Society often criticizes young women for being baby mamas or dating sugar daddies, yet the same society glamorizes men who flaunt wealth, sponsor side chicks, or father children outside marriage. Why is the shame usually placed on the woman’s shoulders?
Beyond the Stigma
Instead of framing this as a disease eating away at Lagos, it could be seen as a symptom of deeper truths:
Marriage is no longer seen as the only ticket to security or respect.
Young people are rebelling against old norms that promised love and stability but often delivered betrayal and financial struggle.
Economic realities are forcing people to redefine what partnership and survival look like.
The Real Question So maybe the issue isn’t the rise of baby mamas and sugar daddies — maybe it’s Nigeria’s broken economic system, lack of opportunities, and the hypocrisy in how society judges relationships. If more jobs, fair wages, and social support systems existed, would this “trend” even be as visible? |
