Hear her out but don't be quick to judge.......... I've got a new boyfriend.. been going out for only a week! He's gorgeous, a real dreamboat. And I'm not too bad either.. and it's going pretty well so far. I've sacrificed a lot to be able to go out with him, lost a few friends actually.. he's got a bit of a bad boy reputation. But from my own experience of things he's said, he seems to be really sincere that he likes me a lot. Only thing is, I paid for our last date as he forgot his wallet.. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but he just texted me now asking me if i could help him out.. he said he doesn't really want to ask me but he just needs a bit of money.. and he said he's in a bit of trouble. But he won't exactly tell me what kind of trouble.. yet. He's not told me how much he needs either. It's only been a week and he's asking, so I'm just worried it might carry on and I don't want to end up feeling gullable and foolish. He really really seems so nice, and he's just always so sweet. I hope this is not what I think it is.. I've seen this stuff on Ricky Lake. Soo fellas, would you ever ask your girlfriends for money? Or would you feel too ashamed? I asked some girls and most of them said its 40% good and its 60% bad. And when ed some guys they said it depends on the level of relationship....so what's your view? |

Residents in Mushin in a new interview with SaharaReporters, blamed the fatal night-time crash on the Nigerian police in Alakara station. According to them, Policemen at the Alakara Police Command in the Mushin area of Lagos State are notorious for illegal raiding, bribery, and even escapades of what some call ‘murder at night’. “I was there that night, and we did not even know at first that it was anyone (famous) like that. We were only helping to remove his body and to rescue him,” a young witness said. “What actually happened that night was that the policemen had stopped the cement truck at the middle of road, and of course, they could only be asking for a bribe. “Unfortunately, the truck had no rear light, (of any kind,) and so the oncoming car was unaware of any vehicle ahead. It just rammed head on, into it from the back. “It rammed into the truck hard without holding the brakes at all, and that is because the truck in its front, had no light to show anything was there. “So after we removed the body, we realized it was Da Grin, and he was groaning. They asked the truck driver to move forward and park out off of the road. They then moved Da Grin’s car afterwards so it would then look like he went to hit the truck where it parked. “We were not thinking about all these as an attempt to change the story. We were only concerned about helping the victim of an accident, and by when they finished their artificial story, the world was only waiting for Da Grin’s recovery. But news broke later that he had died at the hospital. “What made their story work was that the car did not hold its breaks, so there was no sign of screeching on the ground. Otherwise, the marks of friction from the tyres would be in the spot where it was removed, before parking it, and rearranging the scene. “They did everything very fast, and by morning, they were no longer the cause of the accident.) Just like on Tuesday night, that they scared everyone away, and washed the blood stains of their victim within a brief period,” the young man continued. “Of course, they caused the accident that killed Da Grin. And that is how they commit so much atrocities here in Mushin that the public will not know about, or what the truth is. “We live here and we see them live, every time.” The Alakara policemen are described as very apt, and swift, in immediately ‘cleaning up’ their dirty business, leaving behind little, to no evidence, of their atrocities…..MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE…AMEN! |

Chinese beekeeper sets new world record after being covered in 326,000 bees and uses warm water from bowl to ease pain of stings Gao Bingguo set a new world record for having the most bees on his body in Tan'an, in Northern China's Shandong Province. In doing so, he was stung about 2000 times and used warm water to help soothe the pain. Gao Bingguo can be seen sitting idle as dozens of assistants, many in protective gear, apply bees to him by dumping them onto a mat and lifting it towards his body - a process that took more than two hours Gao Bingguo used warm water to reduce the pain of the approximate 2000 stings he received Gao Bingguo used warm water to reduce the pain! The record breaking attempt required detailed and specific preparation in order to minimise the number of times Mr Bingguo would be stung and attract the maximum number of worker bees possible to his body. While bees are not aggressive by nature and do not sting unless provoked, a small percentage of people are allergic to bee venom. However, Bingguo has been a beekeeper for more than 30 years. To begin the procedure, he washed himself as thoroughly as possible to get rid of human smells as this could help reduce the number of bee stings. Chinko people sha ![]()

Jealous Apple, holy wars and some seriously suss sales figures Apple v Samsung Apple and Samsung are scrapping in the courts again, and you know what that means: top-secret stuff gets thrown about with gay abandon, providing us with an insight into the tech giants' most jealously guarded plans, predictions and peeves. So what can we discover from the latest battle in Apple's Android war? 1. Apple v Google was a "holy war" You can't fault Steve Jobs' consistency: when he said he wanted to wage war against Google, he stuck to the message and made plans to act. The "thermonuclear war" on Android he told his biographer, Walter Isaacson, about had a different name in a 2011 internal email, though. In an email to top staff Jobs spoke of a "Holy War with Google", which was the "primary reason for this Top 100 meeting". 2. Samsung has been planning to dump Android for ages Samsung has done well out of Android, but it sees the lack of control and rivals' adoption as weaknesses - so while Apple is number one on its enemies list, HTC, Google and Samsung itself are in the top four too. Samsung's documents say it has been struggling to stay on top of Android updates and would rather use its own, proprietary, OS. 3. Apple cares more about the competition than it lets on We're supposed to think that Apple doesn't care about market share, but of course it does; it just doesn't like to admit it. An internal slideshow about Apple's 2014 phone strategy, which was presented during the cross-examination of Apple marketing VP Phil Schiller, said that "consumers want what we don't have" and emphasised the growth in cheaper and larger phones. When questioned, Schiller says he didn't agree with it and it didn't represent Apple's policy - although in what's surely a coincidence Apple is widely expected to launch a bigger iPhone, the iPhone 6, in 2014. 4. Apple was jealous of Samsung's marketing So much for Apple not caring what the media says: when the Wall Street Journal said Apple had lost its cool to Samsung, Phil Schiller emailed Apple's ad agency to say: "We have a lot of work to do to turn this around". * You agree to be contacted by Future and our trusted third parties. Competition open to UK residents only. Promo Ts & Cs The agency's response "shocked" Schiller, who replied with an angry email and went on to praise Samsung's Superbowl spot. "I can't help but think 'these guys are feeling it'", he wrote. "That's sad, because we have much better products." 5. Samsung's top priority is beating Apple According to a 2011 Samsung strategy plan - a plan with the heading BEAT APPLE on page two, Samsung's "#1 priority" is "beating Apple." "(everything must be context of beating Apple)," the document adds, somewhat unnecessarily. 6. Android didn't want touchscreens until the iPhone came along The excitingly named Android Project Software Functional Requirements Document version 0.91 - July 6 2006 confirms what most of us had already guessed: the iPhone launch caused major facepalms at Google, which was planning to concentrate exclusively on phones with horrible little buttons. "Touchscreens will not be supported," the document says. One Steve Jobs "boom!" later and Android, like the rest of the smartphone sector, suddenly got all touchy. 7. The Galaxy Tab was a massive flop Many of us were cynical about Samsung's 2011 claim that it had sold 2 million Galaxy Tabs by the end of 2010, suspecting that by "sold" it meant sold to retailers, not to customers. When pressed Samsung wouldn't give a straight answer, but evidence obtained by AppleInsider shows that the real figure was much, much lower: just 1m total sales up to June 2011. The Galaxy Tab didn't even outsell the Nook. 8. Apple considered a magic wand to control Apple TV In the same email that talked about a holy war with Google, Steve Jobs bullet pointed the plans for the next Apple TV: "Where do we go from here?" he wrote. "Apps, browser, magic wand?" We're assuming the latter item is a potential product rather than just sarcasm. 9. Samsung follows iPhone rumours If Apple wants to cause trouble for Samsung, it should leak news that the iPhone 7 will contain a unicorn, run on dilithium crystals and include a metal detector: in Samsung's strategy plan for 2012 it described the "extremely real and urgent" threat of the then-unannounced iPhone 5. The specs, Samsung predicted, would include "LTE, social networking, cloud integration, CE [Consumer Electronics] integration, improved Siri". Someone's been reading the rumour round-ups. 10. Copying was a two-way street Multiple documents show that Samsung analysed Apple's software forensically to improve its own offerings. An incredibly detailed 2010 analysis shows exactly where Apple got it right and Samsung got it wrong (short version: pretty much everywhere), while an earlier User Experience (UX) analysis uses the iPhone as an example of what Samsung should have been doing but wasn't. On the other side, Steve Jobs' Holy War email noted that Apple "needed to catch up to Android where we are behind", citing "notifications, tethering, speech…" as areas for improvement. Which team are you for? Apple or Samsung?? Even thos its obvious apple will usless Samsung anyday!

Christ mothers from Mgbishii, a sleepy rural community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area in Imo State, have cried out to the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Dr. Anthony Obinna, over alleged atrocities being committed by their sons and daughters in the area. The women visited Archbishop Obinna at the Maria Assumpta Catholic Cathedral, Owerri, where they complained that they were being raped by their own sons on daily basis. “We are raped and molested by our own children. You cannot come to Mgbuishii and return home safely because of the crime,” the women told Archbishop Obinna. They further said that they had complained to both the state government and other law enforcement agents but regretted that they were yet to find solutions to the atrocities committed by their children. They said: “We are angry because government is not looking at our direction at all. We have been completely abandoned for years. Now, we have no good roads, no electricity, no market and nothing is going on in our place. To make things worse, we are now suffering from insecurity.” Continuing, the aggrieved women also revealed that their sons take over the roads leading to their community on each of their market days and rob people, adding that this explained why people had stopped coming to buy farm produce from their market. “Also, each time we report cases to the police and they manage to send their men at all, the criminals beat them (policemen) up because they (criminals) parade more sophisticated weapons than what the policemen have. We needed police escort to get here (Maria Assumpta Cathedral) and we will also need them to go back home,” the women said. “Even the Reverend Father in our place is complaining and threatening to go away. About two weeks ago, some reverend sisters visited our place and were waylaid on the road and robbed. We have a lot of problems and that is why the women have come to complain to the Archbishop, who is our father in the Lord”, the women added. Responding, Obinna commi-serated with the women over their plight and pleaded with them not to take laws into their hands. While stressing the need for proper upbringing of children by parents in the fear of the Lord, the cleric, however, recalled some bizarre things that are now happening in the society. He prayed and blessed the women for being courageous enough to bring the sordid happenings to limelight. Vanguard |

eledacedar: The list is not complete. Geology, geophysics are also geoscience courses and they both have a wide range of branches/specializations groundwater(hydro- geology/geophysics), engineering geology/geophysics, exploration, environmental and many more.Very ture but as I said before the list includes just a few of them...but thanks for adding more! |
Most people think that studying geography and geo-sciences will just end you back to the classroom as an under payed teacher but they are wrong!. Its the people who study geography education that end up as teachers.......While those who study Geography and Geo-sciences have an abundant range of options to choose from! That's where its starts defeating all these other OVER-HYPED courses like Computer engineering,Civil engineering even petroleum engineering. Don't get me wrong they are fantastic courses but when it comes to setting yourself up and first money income, geography and geo-sciences tops the chart! For example did you know that a fresh land surveyor given a contract to survey a piece of land for a period of time gets an income of atleast N650,000-N2,000,000 Also did you know that the Nigerian government (not sure under which ministry) have a climatologist who they pay nothing less than N10,000,000 But no need to go deep here are some if not few branches of geography and geo-sciences you can branch into Be sure to intern in any area of interests to get your foot in the door and gain valuable on-the-job experience. Your resume will be much more impressive if you have real world experience in the areas you're applying for. #1 URBAN PLANNER/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Geography is a natural tie-in with urban or city planning. City planners work on zoning, land use, and new developments, from a gas station renovation to the development of whole new sections of urban area. You'll work with individual property owners, developers, and other officials. If you're interested in this area, be sure to take urban geography and urban planning classes. An internship with a city planning agency is essential experience for this type of work. #2 CARTOGRAPHER For those with cartography course backgrounds may enjoy work as a cartographer. The news media, book publishers, atlas publishers, government agencies and others are looking for cartographers to help produce maps. This would likely require relocation. Advertisement #3 GIS SPECIALIST City governments, county agencies, and other government agencies and private groups are often in need of experienced GIS professionals. Coursework and internships in GIS are especially important. Computer programming or engineering skills are very helpful in this arena - the more about computers and languages you know, the better off you are. #4 CLIMATOLOGIST Agencies like the National Weather Service, news media, the Weather Channel, and other government entities occasionally need climatologist. Admittedly, these jobs usually go to those with meteorology degrees, a geographer with experience and vast coursework in meteorology and climatology would definitely be an asset. #5TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT Like urban and city planning, there are opportunities in local government but regional transit authorities or shipping, logistics, and transportation companies look kindly to someone with transportation geography in their background and good computer and analytical skills. #6 ENVIRONMENTAL MANGMENT A plethora of environmental assessment, cleanup, and management companies exist throughout the world today. A geographer brings excellent skills for project management and the development of reports like environmental impact reports. It's often a wide-open field with tremendous growth opportunities. #7 EMERGENCY MANAGMENT Emergency management is an under-explored field for geographers. Geography majors make great emergency managers. They understand the interactions between humans and the environment, know about hazards and earth processes, and can understand maps. Add in a bit of political acumen and leadership skills and you have a great emergency manager. Get started in this field by taking hazard courses in geography, geology, and sociology and intern with a local emergency management agency or the Red Cross. #8 DEMOGRAPHER For the population geographer who loves demographic data, what can be more rewarding than becoming a demographer and working for state or federal agencies to help develop population estimates and present data? The U.S. Census Bureau is one of the few entities that actually has a position titled "Geographer." Interning in a local planning agency will help in this area. #9 FOREGIN SERVICE Every country on Earth has a diplomatic corps of individuals who represent their home country abroad. Geographers are excellent candidates for this type of career. In the United States, one begins the process of becoming a Foreign Service Officer by taking the Foreign Service Officer Test. The work can be difficult but rewarding and you may spend years, if not your entire career, away from home. Advertisement #10 MARKETING Along a similar vein of demography, marketing is a good career for those interested in taking demographic information and getting the word out to those who match the demographics you're searching for. This is one of the more glamorous arenas a geographer can get involved in. #11 LIBERIAN/INFORMATION SCIENTIST Your research skills as a geographer apply particularly well to work as a librarian. If you want to help people navigate the world of information, this is a potential career for you. #12 NATIONAL PARK SERVICE RANGER ![]() Are you a physical geographer who needs to be outside and couldn't even consider working in an office? Perhaps a career in the National Park Service is right up your alley? #13 REAL ESTATE APPREIAL Real estate appraisers develop an opinion of value for a specific piece of property. The work involves research into appropriate market areas, the assemblage of pertinent data, and the use of various analytical techniques to provide an opinion that reflects all pertinent market evidence. This multidisciplinary field incorporates aspects from geography, economics, finance, environmental planning, and law. A solid foundation in geography is essential to a real estate appraiser’s success and typical appraisal tools include aerial photos, topographic maps, GIS, and GPS. http://geography.about.com/od/careersingeography/a/jobsgeography.htm

The BLS forecasts growth of 27,100 new positions for this occupation between 2012 and 2022. #17 Physical Therapist Assistant (7.3 out of 10) There’s a slightly lower education bar to enter this occupation than to become a physical therapist, but assistants do many of the same tasks, including monitoring therapeutic exercises, observing progress in a treatment plan and offering proper education for patients post treatment. Physical therapist assistants fell slightly from No. 15 to No. 17 this year, but this occupation is growing at break-neck speed: 41 percent between 2012 and 2022. #18 Civil Engineer (7.3 out of 10) Part of the payoff to this job is looking around and seeing the fruits of your skill and labor. Civil engineers have a hand in building bridges, retrofitting buildings and damming reservoirs. By 2022, there should be 53,700 new openings for civil engineers. #19 Mechanical Engineer (7.2 out of 10) This job is a perfect blend of right- and left-brain thinking: Mechanical engineers shepherd devices from the theoretical design phase to the technical production phase. The profession makes our list for its low unemployment rate of 3.1 percent and comfortable median salary of $80,580. #20 Veterinarian (7.2 out of 10) They’re basically animal doctors, but they’re so much more: They protect food supply by inspecting livestock, they promote public health by fighting animal-borne diseases and they help educate people on how to have a healthy relationship with animals. Given the advancements in this field, expect a 12 percent employment jump between 2012 and 2022. |
Although American rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur, was declared dead as far back as 1996, conspiracy theories that the enigmatic rapper is alive and in hiding have refused to go away. Social media is currently abuzz with reports that 2pac is not just alive but was recently spotted among Hollywood celebrities including pop diva, Beyonce Knowles. The rumour mill started buzzing following a report by satire website, Huzler’s report insinuating the ‘rapper comes out of hiding after 18 years.’ According to Huzler’s report, ‘Tupac Shakur who was supposedly killed at the age of 25 is now admitting he has been hiding this whole time. It was Shakur who in 1996 was reportedly attending a special event in Las Vegas, the Mike Tyson-Benson fight, and then afterwards was brutally murdered, the report began.’ Posting along with it an image of Tupac, also known as Makaveli, with Beyonce, the report continues: ‘A day or so later he is autopsied, then quickly cremated. There is no funeral. Nor is there any record of a tribute or memorial. Now we know exactly why it was because Tupac Shakur was never killed it is unclear why he has been hiding. This story is still under development but Tupac has already been spotted with Celebrities.’ The report is a complete hoax. Tupac was clearly shot four times at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vega on September 7, 1996 and died six days later while undergoing treatment. But that has not stopped repeated fake reports from grabbing global attention. Among reports circulating at present is one that 2pac will resurface on September 13, 2014. One hopeful fan wrote: ‘Reading conspiracies about how Tupac is still alive and will come back September 13, 2014. The more I read the more I believe it.’ Well I can believe he's still alive cause I never knew him but as for Micheal Jackson he's probably just bones now ![]()
