DeRuggedProf: How many units do they have as free float? Their less than 15% free float is sufficient enough to make the share price loose steam from the current price. My thought though. Market has the final stay. |

KarlTom: CHAMPION CAVERTON OANDO
Champion holders may want to start taking profit in batches starting from today. This early full bid definitely cannot last till market close. |

essentialone: CHAMPION. Is it 6 kobo or 60 kobo? The Notification and the Financial Statement are conflicting themselves. I observed it too. I guess that must be a weighty error. The notification I guess should have read ₦0.06 or 6kobo. But if it's 0.60k, then the dividend yield is juicy. |

IYGEAL: One of the wonders of the market, a small lesson.
I have been in DS pre merger news. Sold less than 50% at about 70 bucks.
Recently, after Oga CP's reco of NASCON, I gradually sold all units of DS and have been trying to buy the exact units of DS sold in NSACON.
Summary is that I have been forming Bargain Hunter while now NASCON and even DS are on full bid
I have less than 10% units of the needed NASCON, but I'd move. The challenge now is to know at what price, a resistant will form. |

chunkuli: @ harveststock01 is it champion brewery? quote author=Harvestock01 post=133634938]
My pick is not a very popular one. It was 3.70 when my GA flashed it. I got in at 4.65 but it closed today at 4.25. I hope to get some more Afolabi units by January ending if it's still available within my range.
I hope this helps? It's only champion brewery that closed 4.25, so most likely that's the stock. Guess he meant he picked some at 3.65 and not 4.65. |

yMcy56: NASCON Bonus Pls, has any Morgan user been credited with this bonus? Or you've seen it credited to your CSCS statement? Thanks in anticipation. Morgan will not have the figure updated in your portfolio but it's existing in your portfolio already. What do I mean.? If you have existing 5 units in your portfolio and you are expecting 2 units of bonus. Morgan will not update your portfolio to 7 units. But if you place 7 units for sale, it will go through. |

Mpeace: Loud like transpower. Friends and associates go first take, then brokers, before we go see units buy. Na when the price done settle we go fit buy units from the floor of the exchange, except if they do publix offer. Exactly my thoughts too, Na to just buy and key into any of the already existing Dangote companies because all of them must surely rally alongside the anticipated bride of the NGX "DanRef" |

BabsO2: Nice video. Like the closing which highlights Oando’s focus to deliver value to shareholders.
Thinking: Looking ahead to upcoming AFS, Oando will likely report more assets than Seplat will report above the N3T assets they both reported for last year. Hence my earlier valuation for Oando based relatively on assets may be understated But investors will be more concerned about PAT and EPS than assets to decide which way to go. |

BabsO2: Looks like sellers are eyeing a 3 digit price. Will the strategic buyer(s) buy above N99.99 next week or stick to buying at a max of about N90 With the amount of bid chasing the stock at the moment, cruising past 100 may not be a challenge. |

Mankind2024: I was banned since Sunday 1st September 2024. Today, I'm sending this letter to the Management of NGX for deliberately removing the Corporate Action page.
A letter to the Management of NGX for the restoration of Dividend/Corporate Action page.
The Management Nigerian Exchange (NGX) NGX House, 8/10 Broad Street Lagos Nigeria Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my utmost dismay, disappointment, and outrage at the removal of the Dividend Corporate Action page from the NGX website. This action is a betrayal of Nigerian retail investors, a climax of irresponsibility, and a hurtful blow to the investing community of NSEMPA
https://www.nairaland.com/1131485/nigerian-stock-exchange-market-pick/8124
The removal of this critical page
https://ngxgroup.com/exchange/data/corporate-actions/
is unethical, uncooperative, unpatriotic, wicked, bias and unimaginable. It demonstrates a blatant disregard for the needs and rights of retail investors, who rely on this information to make informed decisions. This action is more devastating than the removal of fuel subsidies by the federal government, as it directly affects the livelihoods of hardworking Nigerians who have invested their life savings in the stock market.
By removing this page, NGX has:
1. Deprived investors of vital information 2. Undermined transparency and accountability 3. Demonstrated disregard for investor welfare 4. Created an uneven playing field, favoring institutional investors 5. Eroded trust in the NGX and the Nigerian capital market. 6. This action is a reflection that NGX never cared for retail investors.
I demand that the NGX:
1. Immediately reinstate the Dividend Corporate Action page. 2. Provide a clear explanation for the removal. 3. Take measures to prevent similar actions in the future. 4. Engage with retail investors to address concerns and improve communication. Failure to address this issue will lead to a loss of confidence in the NGX and the Nigerian capital market, ultimately harming the economy.
All NSEMPA members are advised to mail and bombard the NGX email by forwarding a complaint to:
contactcenter@ngxgroup.com I can always refer and access the "corporate disclosure" page of interested company and still get the relevant information.

zendi: Manie, this bolded remark is same of Dangote Refinery, Seplat and others. What do you think the banks were invented for? All heavy business operations run on bank funding. Nobody funds acquisitions/businesses on this scale out of pocket. Share prices of all Dangote companies are battered at the moment almost close to 52 week low and have not witnessed major rally but no doubt from next year when the refinery is optimally operational and is listed on NGX, the rally that will be triggered on all Dangotes companies will be unprecedented. |

Locotrader: At last champion has delivered. Price appreciation + bonus shares. What must be must be.only time will tell.
IEI would have been another wonderful stock but the MTO disrupted it.
Royalex is spotted to deliver 100% in the next 12 months.current price is 61 kobo.
Shareholding structure of Royalex a nice one to move the share price when it's time comes.
Back to my hole Champion has delivered for real?? At 3.56, how far do you think the rally will last when they did not disclose at what price Enjoycorp bought over the Raysons stake. They should have made the price public just like Guinness and Tolaram. |

With over 45m units available, u still dey find liquidity. Na 100m units u wan buy? Lols, you know MM has nothing to loose by catching a falling knife, but a retail investor/ trader like me will receive a major upper haircut if I stake my fund on 100k units. No point delaying this price crash. Let them just make it happen asap. |

If you are in anyof the above, and you need money urgently...
Just be patient as its not comming soon.
Just know that we are together We are all stuck. True, but it's still strange why the market maker has refused to purchase 100k units at least to take the stock to an equilibrium where their will be offer and bid available, or they don't want the price to go lower from the current?? |

Adinije: Here's my thoughts on this, The market markers already had prior knowledge which is why they moved it down to what they considered fair value price. If that is the case, I don't think the price of DS/NS will crash like we thought. Is that why the market maker is scared or rather has refused to make a purchase of 100k unit to prevent fall in price. Abeg let them do their job and provide liquidity. |

Rice can join later Lols, price should remain the same until they lift suspension, like they will lift the suspension tomorrow, next week or next month, hahahah. Why do u think it's called "stock" market. Cos you must have to be stock for a while. |
