Pimples (Acne) or black heads forms on the face as a result of excess oil getting trapped in the pores. A pimple forms when an oil gland in the skin is blocked and secretions and bacteria build up under the skin. Pimple occurs most often in adolescence, but often persists into adulthood for some individuals

Most women get a few pimples just before their menstrual circle. Stress and some oral contraceptives may make it worse. Fatty foods such as chocolate, nuts, e.t.c are generally no longer considered a basic cause of Pimples.

Most of this cases may respond to home treatment. For the severe or persistent ones, a medical personnel can help prescribe stronger topical medications, antibiotics, or drugs.

Prevention

1. Wash your face with a mild soap that contains benzoyl peroxide. Wash as often as possible to keep it clean, but avoid scrubbing the face.
2. Avoid any food that seems to cause pimples
