angry angry OBJ inherited a better economy. If you had $3 as at then, I assume it has a greater value than $3 today. OP, you seem to have highlighted the negative, he also complimented Buhari's efforts.

Inflation.

What a pathetic excuse.

abeg someone should tell me the difference between treasury and reserves, cus it seems some who quoted before me are confused!.

Secondly, throughout Jonathan's reign, was there an improvement in this treasury or reserves?

If no is the answer, then it means Jona spent all the money nigeria made during his presidency.
I dnt thing we should go into how much gbese nigeria been owe when he came in and we comot am!

Do u knw how much crude oil is btw 2011 to 2015? Do u knw how much GEJ met in Foreign reserve?

Do u knw how much oil is now, lasr 3 months?

Do u also knw abt d accrued outstanding debts GEJ incurred?
Am just asking question, nothing much!

Does all these questions justify the lie about meeting empty treasury?

Am just asking a question too..

Before JEG came in our foriegn reserve was even in excess of 47 billion USD. Instead of growing it, he depleted to 30 and finished all that accrued to the country during his tenor. So I ask all of you, did he leave any thing before he left?

Obasanjo experienced steady surplus budget which led to him leaving high foreign reserve and robust economy for Yar'adua/Jonathan. Jonathan equally had moments of surplus but 2014 saw a decline in oil prices which led to deficit budget, borrowing to pay salaries and depletion of reserves to maintain currency value.

Buhari is a more prudent manager than Jonathan otherwise we could have reached anti climax of economic tsunami by now. I don't think he continued borrowing to pay salaries like Jonathan.

Am just asking a question too..

Do u knw how much our fellow oil producing countries saved in their foreign reserves during the oil boom era of 2010 to 2014?

Why did Nigeria's foreign reserve depleted even during oil boom where our budget benchmark was $75 and a barrel of crude oil sells for an average of $100 in four (4) good years?

Do u have an idea how many barrels of oil was exported in that same period of 2010 to 2014?

I am still asking questions!

you are right jare.

did one small research and I found out that a large percentage of our infractructures, government economic programmes ,technology projects etc where either started or completed when obasanjo was head of state or president. forget his mistakes, that man is still the best all round presi we ever had.

See them, who cares how much oil cost then, the fact is that your idols claimed our national treasury was empty, which is a very false statement,. Where did PMB get the money to bail out impoverished States? Where did he get the money to fund his frequent trips?

There is difference between foreign reserve and treasury. Pls check ur dictionary.
