Life is belonging to a particular circle. If you don't belong to the inner caucus then accept your floor member status. Why Mercy Aigbe comparing herself to the likes of Nnaji Genevive, RMD?
Remember the book called Animal Farm.

JoaHynppes:
i think the Yoruba movies still remains the best, they are definitely better than the English ones, they are far more creative and they gonna teach you a whole lot of things ....the English ones keep repeating the same stuff all the time, either they are crying, or a girl from a poor background got married to a rich man at the end or some evil people died. Trust me I don't spend 10mins of that on YouTube. I think the Yoruba's actually deserves some recognition.
some English movie are also very interesting. I do Enjoy them

I am Yoruba but the last time I enjoyed watching Yoruba film was during the time of comedians like Obalende and Baba Suwe in 1992

The modern Yoruba movies don't interest me one bit..

Give me Telemundo anyday: Husband For Hire, Under The Same Sky, Face of Destiny, behind Closed Door, For the Love of Lola, Passion for Revenge, Fearless Heart, Broken Angel, For the Love of Justice, The Impostor, Cruel Love, Someone is Watching, The Clone, .....now these are real movies...

Question based on Topic: Why are Yoruba Actors and Movies sidelined from Nollywood?

Answer which was cut out from the same article:
This much talked about discrimination doesn't only exist in Nollywood, it's in the media, it's also amongst the Yoruba actors.
You get to hear some actors say things like "in the Yoruba film industry," "Kannywood," and all the other kind of woods. If our Yoruba actors truly want that 'one industry,' then why do they separate themselves? What exactly have they done to bridge this gap we all know does exist?
The discrimination isn't just amongst the Yoruba actors vs English movie actors. Have you even thought of the Kannywood industry it's almost like they are in a whole different world.

So we are done!

Oh...before i forget, African Magic used to show Yoruba Movies on AM Movie Channel before some Yoruba media goons proposed that Yoruba movies should have their separate channel!

CONCLUSION: Mercy Aigbe should go and hold the "Kannywood Actors" and the people who suggested the separation in African Magic responsible!

In formality all Nigerian actors are part of Nollywood, but In reality the ibo/Edo/Delta english speaking actors and their films are recognised as Nollywood by themselves and the media. I suggest that there should not be a forced unification, the yoruba speaking film industry should name itself YOLLYWOOD. Or simply yoruba movie industry. After all the addition of the suffix "WOOD" from the HOLLYWOOD is a symptom of Inferiority or Equalising complex.

Wowzer!

Mercy darling. I think you are gorgeous, fashionable and you have tried very hard to carve a niche for yourself. However, most of the Yoruba actresses are raaass! Check out the pictures attached in your post, those chicks will spoil the front-page of This day mehn! What's with the unprofessional bleaching? See wetin Ronke Oshodioke pack for front? Chai, even my highly respected Fatia is yet to find a style that completely suits her. Can we now place your girls at par with Genny, Stephanie Linus ,etc. We are talking fashion here babes, but you seriously tried.
